Nitecore Batteries are accurately power rated !!
Written on Dec 02, 2025
4000 mAh Nitecore runs my 850 mw 940 NM Illuminator for 5 hours at full power, so it is properly rated as to battery capacity, which is more than I can say for many battery manufacturers!

Review for
PARD Optics 18650 Replacement Battery
Many batteries claim outrageously high capacity to get your money, but these can be counted on to deliver rated capacity. Even better performance can be expected using a "intelligent charger" to charge them. Never discharge them below 2.8 volts or they will be damaged.

User of Gen I, III and Thermal Night vision Products
Written on Apr 16, 2017
I purchased one of these units 2 years ago for a girlfriend that was concerned about what her dogs were barking at during the night. I found the unit to be an excellent performer for the money, especially the record function. If you are dissatisfied with the performance of Gen I, II, or II units, the use of an additional IR illuminator such as Streamlight TL-2 IR flashlight or TLR-VIR weapon light increases performance tremendously( +300 yards). And yes, I have and use both. People should educate themselves before dogging out a perfectly acceptable night vision monocular. Excellent item
