This is my second Athlon scope and very pleased with it. I was first surprised by its weight but neither are tanks. Turrets - are solid clicks that align right on the marks. There is no mushy side to side movement and little snappy noises, when it clicks your on the next mark and that’s that. Glass is impressive and I think it gives one heck of a run for the money to other brands. Illumination has the power off settings in between brightness settings (should be a manufacturing standard IMO) Note: I mounted this on a ar10 but for those interested with 15’s, their moa reticle has the BDC for the specific for 556. Overall I think this scope is impressive even without parallax adjustment
Turned out to be great set of rings for my Mauser M12 in 270w matched with Steiners GS3. At first I was skeptical after seeing the cross bar only went half way across but then I noticed it is part of the ring. I have Warne and the lug is a separate piece. Logo is on one side (no biggie) and the bubble level is typo, if you check on Steiners website the T series has the bubble. Fits great, holds great...don’t over thunk it!
Fit perfect on a M18 in 6.5cm. Mounted a Vortex crossfire II 3-9x40 with a one inch tube. Third set of Talleys in the family and have no complaints. The one piece design is simple and effective and the extended front ring gets you the perfect eye relief.
Got this stock for my 10/308/HB with the bolt release at the front of the trigger. All that was needed was light sanding on the sides of where the trigger guard sits. Everything else fit great and I think way better than the original non-accustock. Reason for the 4 stars is because it came with only one sling stud instead of two as described. Overall I’m really impressed with fit and finish.
Got this scope cause of the simplicity of the 6.5cm reticle (and I’m an idiot, lol). Sited in at 100 in 3 shots after bore sighting (noice!). Tracking and clicks seemed very good but locking the turret seemed lacking, compared to my Forge. The picture starts getting very finicky at around 14/15 magnification and don’t have very much wiggle at 18. I think for getting into long range it’s a decent scope to start with.
Got the Apollo S for my weatherby VGD modular chassis in 6.5cm. This rifle is a tack driver and the Apollo S tames the recoil. I have not shot it in an indoor range but the neighbors do make comments about the side pressure which is pretty significant. The fit is great, instructions are straightforward and it’s not bulky unless your going for that tanker look than this isn’t for you. If your looking for maximum recoil control then the Max is probably your flavor but the S works pretty darn well.
