This forend fit my 590A1 like a champ. Installation was painless and straightforward. It definitely gives a different grip profile than stock. Slightly more "blocky" in hand, yet the positive ridges are more effective than the stock Mossberg forend. The selling point for these is that it offers you a raised "ramp" at the forward and rear end of the forend. This makes the length of pull a bit more modular and creates a positive stop for rearward motion while pumping. Good stuff.
