***ATTENTION*** This rating is for the UTG/Leapers combat tactical red laser scp-ls268, Not Optics Planet! I have absolutely no problem with Optics Planet and their service, I am a happy customer and will continue to use them. Ok, I was skeptical about this laser in the first place simply because the price and the screws, they didn't look sturdy enough to me, Well, when your in a hurry and excited to finish your build and you don't read enough of the reviews, namely the not so good ones, you get what you pay for. Anyway, I mounted it on my wife's ar15 5.56/223, used a laser bore siter for the scope, iron sites and the laser. I've had very good luck with this system, the scope and iron sites were on paper at 25 yards, shot about 100 rounds before I decided to try the laser and dial it in. when I turned it on it was not even on the target, I had to aim it at the side of my shop to find it and after several frustrating minutes and finding the adjustment screws very loose, one of which was about to fall out, I got it close enough to try shooting it, Big Fat Failure! Racking a round would move the dot. I use other UTG/Leapers products and have had very little problems, if any. So this review is not to bash UTG/Leapers, I reached out to them on their website via e-mail and haven't heard anything back as of 4 days ago, so I'm not going to hold my breath on this one, just going to chalk it up as lesson learned. In my opinion, this product should not be used with anything with recoil,

The name says it all when you get to be an old dude. Young shooters should take heed, This Will Save Your Limbs! I am very pleased with this product, you can't go wrong, the only thing I regret is not trying one earlier. first one I tried was on my Browning A-Bolt Medalian 300 RUM while sighting it in after a new scope installation. WOW! What a difference. This one is going on my new AR-10/308 build. And what a pleasure buying through OP, absolutely no problems and the price was comparable to other sources.
