ACSS Chevron works for me
Written on Aug 27, 2024
Decided on this unique chevron green reticle after comparing it to 507c dot/circle green dot and also a 507Comp green reticle. I experienced quite a bit of blurring with those models because of my astigmatism. Noticed very little with the ACSS reticle.
Was a little dubious at first because of the unusual sight picture of a chevron vs. a dot. Took it to the range this weekend and was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and quick target acquisition of the ACSS reticle. Put the tip on the target and that is where the shot goes. Amazingly it was sighted in almost perfectly after mounting with almost no adjustment needed.
The ACSS reticle worked for me and I am happy with my choice.

Difficult to sight in

Review for
Ultradot L/T Red Dot Sight
This red dot is nice and light and has a bright and clear image. However the sight adjustments are 2 tiny screws, one of which is located at the rear of the base. This requires you to mount the red dot forward on the picatinny rail in order to sight it in with the very tiny right angle wrench provided. I prefer to have the sight located on the rear of the rail up against the rear sight on my pistol and this is not possible with this sight. Returning to O.P.
Excellent all around flashlight

This LED light from Streamlight is exceptionally bright, rugged and reasonable compact. It projects a very bright light at considerable distance. The head of the flashlight is a little larger diameter than I was expecting, but not too large to make it suitable for carry and tactical use.
