The quality is great and it does the job if you're using a FRT. H2 is embossed in the face of the buffer. So it's identified without removing it from the weapon.

Great quality. Well made. Nice color. Everything I've purchased from Savior has been top notch quality at a great price. Including this pouch. It holde 30 rd AR mags perfectly. It even holds the 40 rd Pmags. The sholder strap has polymer hooks and attachment points. Which is fine with me. The carring handle is a cloth material with very nice stitching.

This OD Green pistol grip with storage compartment is exactly what I was looking for. The quality is nice and it looks close enough to a mil spec grip and it has storage. The back of the grip has a slight arch to it so thats the biggest difference between it and a mil spec grip in appearance. Its slightly thicker also. It feels very nice in my hand. Better than mil spec.

The quality is solid,as is the green color. The OD Green handguards are not glossy like the black one's. They are flat green. At first I didn't like that,but it matches the finish of their OD Green pistol grips and carbine stocks. But shiny is correct for the black one's. If you want something different for your furniture color, this green is awesome on an AR. The gaps are clean and uniform all the way down the length of the two halves. I did have to file a small amount of material from the end that fits under the slip ring in order to get them to clear the ring when installing them. But that seems to be the case with all of the different brands of old school carbine handguards I've dealt with. Less Magpul MOE M-loc. These are NOT the fat 7 hole M4 handguards. And they do have the aluminum heat shields.

This fits a mil spec buffer tube. It's correct for an old school A1 carbine. The fit is nice as well as the quality. H&R uses this brand on their Retro line. Ask me how I know. The OD Green color is awesome to me. I've purchased the black color stocks as well.

The one I received has the Colt cage code engraved on the upper right side with the square forge marking. It also has the M4 feed ramps. It came with a black dust cover spring, which I don't care for,so I replaced it with a chrome spring. It has the white markings between the grooves of the 1913 rail also. The finish was excellent, with no blemishes or scratches. The dust cover fits tight at the top when closed,but it has a little play at the hinge area where the rod goes through ths cover. But that seems to be a hit or miss issue with all brands these days. The forward assist operates smoothly with no gritty feel to it. The feed ramps match up well with the Luth SOCOM barrel I've mounted to this upper. The barrel nut fit well and the threads were perfect. I'm very pleased with this receiver.

The Luth standard pistol grips are nice. They appear to be mil spec in their detentions. I've purchased the Luth A1 grips as well,and i believe its the same brand that H&R uses with their non blemish Retro line of ARs. I know because I have them. I did have to file a few spots that were not trimmed properly when they were removed from the factory mold. But other than that,they're nicely done.
