Purchased the red version and have been using on my home range on/off for about 6 months. So far, after a lot of hits from both 9mm and 45ACP, the target itself has held up very well with minimal “permanent” damage. However, the red color makes it very hard to see hits from any distance beyond 15 yards (at least with my eyesight). I started putting adhesive backed splatterburst style targets on the body and head, but they’d always fall off after a few hits. Figured that there might be some type of residual oil on the target itself and cleaned with acetone. Now the targets won’t come off - at all - ever. I just keep sticking new targets on top of the old. Probably should have just spray painted it before every range session.
Also, hit the post with one .45 round - dead center - and it broke in half at the hole. At first, it stayed together but after a night of freezing temperatures it was in two pieces the next morning. Maybe water froze in a crack? The posts are cheap to replace, but I don’t think one shot should be the limit regardless of the weather.
Overall, target is good at self-healing, but I wouldn’t buy again. I think there’s better alternatives on the market.

Used this gas block on multiple builds and have never had any issues. Always a quality item. Most recently used on a pistol length build and, so far, it’s worked very well. Researched other - less expensive -gas blocks for this pistol-length build and realized that not all adjustable gas blocks are rated for pistol builds. In fact, the Superlative block is one of the few that is rated for pistol length. Will definitely purchase again for my next build.

Purchased this for an AR10 (DPMS) build, though it’ll probably fit on most any style build. Thought it was so comfortable that I bought it again for a 2nd build I’m working on. However, I’m a big guy with large hands (XL/XXL gloves), so that may contribute to why I thinks it’s comfortable. To me, it feels like it has a slightly larger girth/width than most grips I’ve tested. Plus, it’s also somewhat compressible, so it feels like you can get a very solid purchase. The only reason I only gave it four stars is that it doesn’t have a grip plug available. Seems like a lot of open space going to waste.

Just installed, but haven’t fired it yet. Very happy with the mount and feels very solid, so far, so I think it’ll hold-up well under fire. Also like the looks - a little different from standard mil-spec but still has a decent amount of mlok locations for accessories. Also fairly light weight, so that’s a nice bonus.

Installed today - quick and easy. Very solid mounting and it feels like it’ll hold-up very well and I don’t notice any flex or movement in the mount. I have big hands and I’m also happy with the overall height/length of the grip and feel like I’m able to get a full grip with my hand. My only criticism is that I wish that it could have an angle adjustment, but it wouldn’t prevent me from buying another.

I’ve been using these mounts for several years for placing trail/game cameras throughout our property and they’re excellent. I saw them demonstrated several years ago at the GAOS in Harrisburg and have been a fan ever since. They’re easy to install, hold the camera securely, and allow for tremendous flexibility with regard to camera placement. You just need to make sure you order all the parts - camera supports, tree mounts, extension pole, etc - if you’re thinking about using them. We use about 20-25 on our property and have never had a problem.

I’ve ordered and tested several Magpul stocks and this one is my favorite for carbine builds. If you want the storage option/door in the butt I’d recommend the ACS; if the storage compartment is unimportant to you I’d go with the STR and save a few bucks. The cheekweld positions are identical between the two stocks. I’m tall and have a huge melon, and find this stock to be very comfortable if you have a large frame.

Worked very well for my non-buffered PCC application. Just needed the tube to mount an adjustable stock. If you’re purchasing this for a buffered application, you’ll need to purchase a buffer, buffer spring, and castle nut separately, since they’re not included.
