I purchased this product along with the Magpul Backpacker stock for a Ruger 10/22 Takedown carbine. Both products I believe are specific to each other and as such are not interchangeable with any other firearm that I am aware of. I am using this product with a red dot sight on an ADM quick-detach optic mount. The reason for this is to enable me to use the iron sights when the optic is removed. This item replaces the barrel block of the firearm as the mount itself becomes integral to the barrel assembly. Very well designed and executed concept and the actual machining is superb. Worth the money and there is no other product like it. American made.

I purchased this item to replace the Magpul X/22 Hunter stock I already had as an upgrade to the original Ruger stock. While I do like the Hunter this newer product is much, much better for me. It is lighter, way more compact when taken down and stows away as a single unit compared to both the original unit and the Hunter which stow away as two separate pieces. The length of pull may be too short for taller people but I find it perfect for me as I am only 5 ft. 4 in and 120 lbs. The firearm also points very well and it is extremely easy to achieve a good sight picture making the use of a red dot sight very enjoyable when shooting multiple targets. This product is also less expensive than the stock it replaces.

For a little over ten dollars this is a dimensionally perfect upgrade to the crude original standard latch.
The original is actually painful to use without gloves in cold weather and is hard to use with one hand. This product is very comfortable to use as it also is longer than the original. Perfect drop in using the same roll pin on the original charging handle. It appears to be steel with a black phosphate finish that may or may not fit your actual firearm which to me is not a real issue. American made. A big plus.

I purchased this product for CZ Kadet conversion magazines. These magazines have the dimensions of the original 9mm units that come with the CZ 75 B host pistol but are designed to accommodate .22lr cartridges. Without this tool it is very difficult to load the magazines because the feed lips are considerably sharp especially after loading a significant number of rounds. I have 3 other speed loaders from this manufacturer including a Baby Uplula for standard .22lr pistol magazines, a universal model for 9mm thru .45acp and one for ar-15 .223 / 556 magazines. I am very pleased with all of them as to ease of use and durability. Of note is the fact that this unit being reviewed comes in a two-tone color. It makes it easy to distinguish this from the universal 9mm thru .45acp model which is all black with exactly the same outside dimensions as this .22lr model.
