This is a great bipod. It is lightweight. The qd attachment method makes it very easy to install and uninstall. It is also reasonably solid for being polymer.
OPMOD is totally worth it. I tend to see a lot of hate for the OPMOD logo and I just dont get it. Eotech quality and Eotech warranty. I just wish I would have bought one sooner. I have an astigmatism and the circle and dot look perfect to my eye.
Installed this on a 300lk pistol and within the first 10 shots it shut off. I found that the battery terminal was glued to the board instead of soldered. Reached out to the company with no response. Almost seems like they're out of business.
I have this mounted on a PSA Jakl along with a Magpul stock. In the extended position it is very solid. When folded it has a little wiggle but it holds itself closed until you want it open. There is a little play on the fit of the stock, but nothing I would complain about.
Bought this rail to put on a Palmetto State Armory receiver. The rail lines up perfectly. It feels amazing as well. Top notch machining. Midwest barrel nuts are designed so you do not need to time them, just torque them down and install the rail.
I have this mounted on a Sig Cross and it really completes the package. The whole thing is light as a feather. The glass is very clear and the reticle is simple and easy to use. I am not the biggest fan of the push button illumination, but that is just a preference thing. It functions perfectly.
First I will say I noticed very little, if any, change in the amount of gas I am getting in my face. Second, yes it is not a true ambi latch, but it works just fine. I am able to pull the handle back with either latch.
Overall it is well built and I like their idea of how to divert gas. I am trying the RTV trick next and maybe that will seal the deal.
This barrel is very accurate. Better than I will ever be able to shoot that is for sure. I have not been having very good success with my rifle cycling so far though. I first tried a superlative arms piston kit and only could get it to run at all suppressed with the gas setting wide open. I now have it set up DI, but my last range trip it would not lock back on an empty mag unsuppressed. I put the lightest possible spring on my JP silent capture assembly and will see what happens.
Criterion makes great products. I'm sure I'll get this to run after toying with it.
This gas block seems to work. The only complaint I have is that the directions on how to tune are a little vague. There seems to be a wide range of settings where I do not notice any difference in cycling or felt recoil. I may just need to spend more time with it to figure out how it best works with my rifle. Overall I would I would buy it again.
If you are looking for a gas tube, look no further. This gets the job done and I would venture a guess and say it probably made in the same factory as all the rest that cost more. Strike Industries has become one of my favorite brands.
