PROS:
-Excellent eye relief at 1x
-Very smooth zoom adjustment
-comes with adjustment lever
-First Focal Plane
-.25 MOA adjustment
-2 Night Vision settings
-Clear glass
CONS:
-sub-par eye relief at 8x
-fixed parallax
-not so great reticle clicks
-Heavy
There's other pros and cons to add to this list but many of them are common to all LPVO's, but at $400 brand new (I got it on sale) there's no better deal, even at $600. I personally really love the reticle and it's quite obvious it was designed for fast target acquisition at fighting distances. the ranging portion of the reticle is such a great addition and honestly it makes once you get accustomed to it, then use other scopes without it, you really end up missing it. Lots of people hate on the large cross hairs but again, they were obviously created to draw your eye to the middle of the reticle at 1x, and with the typical day light brightness of most LPVO's that this scope also suffers from, they really are great for fast reticle acquisition at 1x.
regarding the fixed parallax, yes that's not great but there are tricks you can use to drastically help with parallax adjustment using scope shadow, it just takes training.
again, for the money of a $400-$600 FFP LPVO with Vortex's incredible lifetime warranty and customer service, and knowing what the reticle was designed for, this optic can't really be beat.

Review for
Badger Ordnance Universal Safety Selector
being a lefty I really wanted a left-handed safety, but I can't stand ambi safety's that have these weird & dumb pygmy left-handed levers that aren't long enough to effectively manipulate with your thumb (not to mention the 'normal' sized lever only gets caught in your hand anytime you want to go off safe). This one it works great; I'd like to have a bit more resistance in the manipulation, maybe like 10-15%, but you can just change out the spring in your grip to do this if needed. At any rate, it works great and has made my rifle feel like a "real" rifle, now that I can actually wrap my thumb around my grip when firing and still manipulate the safety, as any right handed shooter would. Definitely a great buy for myself
