Must have for ProTac

Written on May 24, 2025

Such a scam that this doesn't come default as the pressure switch out of the box with the ProTac, but this will allow momentary/constant on use with the switch.

Great tube

Installs and fits great with a JP silent buffer/capture spring

QD function works great if you don't care about color

Written on May 14, 2025

Fits great, installs easy but does not match to Magpul FDE in the slightest. Recommend if you're not looking for matching colors and just want something that will fit and work well for a QD spot.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Written on May 08, 2025

I have a cheaper set of fixed offset standard iron sights from Ozark Armament on my scoped rifle. I replaced the front post with a TruGlo TG-H3 front sight post. The TG-H3 is bright and always visible. Wanted something on the rear aperture to line up with but wasn't willing to spend $300+ on Troy or similar when for that price I could almost get a Holosun 507.

This was the perfect solution for a fraction of the price. The dots are definitely on the dimmer side, as other reviews have mentioned. It's noticeably dimmer than my TG-H3 front post sight, but it actually works really well to line up the shot. They are just bright enough to see in order to line up 4 the hazy dots against the contrast of the brighter front dot. The night sights on my stock P365 are exactly the same way and work great.

All together, I think I spent $40 on the fixed offset sights, $40 on the TG-H3, and $70 on the Meprolight rear aperture. So ~$150 for "Troy clone". Disclaimer: I have never actually looked through as et of Troys, so maybe they are worth the extra coin, but for me this setup was exactly what I was looking for for less than half the price I would have spent.

Not as bright as real tritium sights

Written on May 07, 2025

Fits correctly into a standard mil-spec front sight post. The shape and color are accurate to the picture. The "Luminescent Contrast Stripe" works but only after "charging" it for a couple of seconds with a bright light aimed directly into it at close range. So it's "luminescent" in that way, and is really bright after absorbing light from another source, but don't expect to be able to use these in any real low light scenario like a set of TruGlo/Tritium sights.

The colored front post can help for some people in acquiring a sight picture, so I recommend it for that, but if you're looking for a something for real low light scenarios, this is probably not it.
