Review for
Ultradyne Apollo Max Compensator
Back in 2016 I had an accident and required as Reverse Shoulder Replacement on my right shoulder (very painful surgery and recovery). The Doc said it should be good for at least 10 years, I was 62 at the time. I've had an AK since the 90 and I loved shooting lots rounds through that fun gun. Since my shoulder surgery I've been worried about excessive recoil damaging the new parts holding my arm to my shoulder.
I did some research and looked at many different Recoil Compensators and finally came across the Ultradyne Apollo MAX compensator for the .308/7.62 NATO barrels. Checked out reviews and some online video comparisons and decided to buy one.
I bought a Thunderguns AR308 upper assembly, a .308 80% lower (machined myself) a Luth Buttstock and buffer tube assembly, hydraulic .308 buffer. Had my handguard and lower Cerakoted in Crimson Red (Spokane Cerakote) and did final assembly CLP oil treatment.
Walked out into the yard where some friends & family were sitting around a fire ring near a picnic table. When the girls saw the gun on the picnic table they all got up and left. HaHa Loved it!
So I fired the first round without my ear plugs in. Bad idea, the sound was deafening leaving a wonderful ringing in my ears. I then put in my ear plugs. I immediately noticed there was virtually no recoil and the muzzle barely moved an inch if that much. I shot a couple more rounds at a beer can victim, hit it on the 3rd shot. Handed the SAFE hot gun to Corbin and he shot se

It seems a unique style to me

Review for
Luth-AR .308 Rifle Buffer Tube Assembly
It is a non-adjustable buffer tube which seems intended for use with the non-adjustable Luth Buttstock. A screw in the butt end attaches to the buffer tube end. The buffer tube is threaded all the way into the lower receiver (to cover the buffer stop) and also acts as the receiver end plate. Leaving no room for an end plate with a QD attachment option. It is a simple style and seems to work very well on my AR-308
