Great price, just as good as Vltor and BCM
Written on Apr 06, 2023
Great price, just as good as Vltor and BCM. Fit and finish are excellent, NO pinch area when using, gently goes into the Upper Receiver charging handle retention indention. The latch is made from aluminum to decrease wear on the Upper Receiver charging handle retention indention. No need to pay those over inflated Vltor or BCM prices - and yes Virginia, I has both of them. The latch goes up against the charging handle housing when fully actuated, NOT depending on the roll pin. Note: fits and functions perfectly in my Wilson Combat Upper Receiver. Almost forgot, Life Time Warranty.

Good Kit - has a SPIRAL pin
Written on Mar 26, 2023
Pretty standard kit EXCEPT that the micro c-clip is install and the roll pin for the FA is a SPIRAL type - much easier to install. I have never seen a spiral pin in a UR kit before, not even the more expensive Aero kit.

Best combo of cost and weight

Review for
Weaver Thumbnut SPR 30mm Mount
Best combination of cost and weight, not to mention the quality manufacturing and the conveyance of installing and removing without a tool. The double screws on the caps sure the optic very well. The clamping bar is full length. The thumb screws have good knurling on the edging and accommodate a large bladed screwdriver.

Loosey goosey - DO NOT BUY

Review for
AIM Sports Inc AR Lower Receiver Vise Block
Does not hold AR15 securely, flops around - you need to put a wedge/shim between the Block and the Lower Receiver to get it to be still. I made a better vise block from an old magazine body and some wood shims.

Review for
AIM Sports Inc AR Lower Receiver Vise Block
This vise blck is Worthless - do not buy. When the AR15 Lower Receiver is place on the block it barely locks into place is very lousy goosey. I made a better vice block from an old aluminum magazine stuffed with wood shims.

Review for
Tacfire AR15 Lower Take Down Pin
Works great for tight Upper/Lower fits. Bigger "head" than other extended T/D Pins. I removed the ring and it works perfectly without it. The fit and finish is good, just add some lube to smooth-out the surface.

Perfect fit and looks good
Written on Dec 04, 2019
Perfect fit on PTR-9 and looks good. The adjustment bars are tight, but not too tight when adjusted or locked - just right. The brace aligns perfectly with the receiver cap or brace attachment hole and allows firm but not overly tight insertion of the retention pin.

NOT so Super Dot
Written on Sep 27, 2019
This RDS is too heavy, the battery compartment cover is excessively large, and WORST of all, the picatinny adapter that was pre-installed on the unit is loose when fully tightened on an AR-15 A3 Upper Receiver and a
Midwest Industries AK Railed Scope Mount 6.75in. Rail MI-AK-SM (from Optics Planet). I emailed Nikon about this issue and their response was “Thank you for contacting Nikon. I would recommend consulting
with a gunsmith as you are working with Nikon mounts on a third party Rail system.”
Well plenty of companies make RDS’s and mounts that fit a “third party Rail system”, but Nikon seems to fall short here. Note: the “Aimpoint” style mounts in the box DO fit the above mentions rails – so there is that. Unfortunately, this RDS does not have attachment screw holes that match the true “Aimpoint” pattern so other risers can be used.

Good value, solid installation
Written on Feb 21, 2018
Good value, solid installation. Only issue is that the most rearward slot on
the left and right is not usable by normal width mounting rings in that the
round part interferes. Note: unlike other UTG Pro hand guards, this barrel
nut needs to be timed/indexed.

Good Value

Excellent finish and fit; and includes FOUR aluminum rails. T His hand guard is a truly super slim, especially for a 2-piece drop-in, in that there is no rail on the bottom like the free float super slims.
