I like to begin by tooting my own horn since I'm the first to leave a review for the OPMPD version of the Sig Sauer 1x6 MSR LPVO.
Lets get into-
(Pause)
Pros
-'Good' glass out of the box -4.0
-Sig's signature scope mount-solid 5.0
-Throw lever
-Neat scope caps that fold flat up top
-Eye relief is good to solid
-Reticle is nice/clear and clean rivaling the ACSS comparable to say the least.
-Price, i have been watching this one and this was on sale along with a promo coupon. Depending upon when you catch this, for Sig Sauer for me was a great value. If you get this near or below $275 you are in decent shape.
Cons
-Stretched out (pause) to 6power, a skinny white post can get lil foggy with a purplish hue.
-I didnt find the weight an issue...but-3.5
-The color is like a Matte gray, not really black with gray scope caps.( not a big deal) but 4.0
-Zeroing in semi tactile but audible or mushy tbh
Overall pushing a 4.0 to 4.3, some may feel as a 4.5
But if you lineup with other top 3lpvos
Strike Eagle 1x8 may edge it out via taste or preference and there is always PA slx.
This kind of all comes down to best glass at distance.
This is a highly fascinating product, my only reservation is the steal feels hollow or soft. Like it could break or bend, no issues yet, but havent stressed tested. Don't get me wrong, it does what it says and may remarkable, but this is my upfront feeling when touched.
I have one and purchased a second. The reason I give this 5 Stars... essentially this turns your 14.5 or less Rifle into a Football grip feel. Trust me, you will throw tight spirals! Great maneuverability.
