I bought this bolt in hopes of reducing or better yet, eliminating failure to fire in my MKlll pistol using standard velocity ammo. In my first outing with the bolt installed this didn’t happen. In fact, it was worse. While the bolt is well made, my suspicion is the recoil rod spring is extremely stiff because it’s new . I’m thinking it would have been better to buy the recoil rod spring kit first and use the milder spring for standard ammo. I ordered the spring set so time will tell. I’ve also ordered the Scorpion upper so I will give this bolt a try again as soon as I install the upper. I’m going to eventually use this for rimfire steel challenge, so fingers crossed it gets sorted out soon
