Ultra accurate in my Marlin
Written on Sep 30, 2024
I've been shooting both Hornady v-max and CCI TNT for years. My local was out of both so I tried these CCI v-Max .17 Grain out of my first Gen Marlin V 17. \
Last night, on my personal range at 76 yards, I fired three round after thoroughly cleaning the bbl and sighting in for them ans the group was .147".
I had no idea they would be so accurate out of the Marlin. I took a opossum shortly there after with it and the results were expulsive to sa the least!
Scope is Arken EPL-6x24. Very good for night hunting vermin with 2400 lume light on rifle.

Review for
Aguila Ammunition Standard .22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Lead Solid Point Brass Cased Rimfire Ammunition
Using these in custom Kidd/Shaw 10 22 and very accurate. In the high .2's to very low .3's at 50 yds, and a lot of under 1/2" groups at 80 yards.

Sir, all high quality trigger shoes have to be fitted. What you don't want is a trigger shoe that is loose sloppy fit top to bottom. You can remove material top and or bottom for fitment. It will not be seen once installed. What you cannot do is add material. The issue in this case is simply a lack of knowledge of the end user, not the produce.

EZE-LAP 2x6in Double Sided Sharpening Stone
Eazy lap makes a stand for these stones that the stone snaps into and is secure and makes the work surface much taller. these stones have been around for a very long time and the version you have is the perforated surface. I speed's up sharpening quite a bit and traps the swarf while sharpening. And these are not, unless just recently, made in china. This is a U.S. company started in the 70's best I remember.
They predated DMT.

Optics Planet has done it to me again!!!
wonderful products, Fantastic selection, lack luster customer service.
I ordered the HoloSun 407K along with that adapter for a Novak 1911 and it was sold with a two day delivery.
Shocked as it did indeed arrive on time Very unusual with Optics Planet with virtually all my orders from them.
However, the mounting plate was shipped from a different warehouse and it was sent "Free Shipping" I tried to contact Optics Planet and noticed that they are no longer answering voice mail, Email, and hardly ever pick up the Phone. After several attempts over a few days, getting computer messages and being hun up on by their computer, I was told that the adapter plate would probably arrive at my location in 6 to 10 days. WTF!!! His replies were very lack luster and more of who cares as it it was company policy to do such things in their business.
Nice, I have a nice Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special that my old eyes cannot see the sights worth a darned, and I now have the very compact Reflex Sight and cannot use it.
Knowing that it was sue to arrive in two days, I took time off to mount and sight it in. Now, wasted my time. AGAIN!!!
I hate it, but I'm just about fed up with Optics Planet. It has taken me years to get to the point that I just cant see it worth the trouble of dealing with them.

I have installed the extension tube into the Luthar but stock and it was a good fit. Can't ask for more!
It is installed on a custom sniper rifle. Love it! I looked at the Mag pol but this was so much lighter. An advantage for how I use my Rifle.

RCBS Pro-Melt Furnace 120 V-ac - 81100
So far, I have found several points of interest in the RCBS Pro-Melt Furnace that were lacking in other products I have used.
First, No constant dripping. Making start-up a lot less nerve racking.
Secondly, a much higher degree of temp control over the session. The temp just doesn't swing as wildly as the level drops as other brands I have tried.
Thirdly, the actuation lever is "SO much easier to use. Very little movement required, with no drips when I stop a pour. And the volume stays at a more constant rate in relation to the level in the pot. Sure it will eventually change slightly but only after using a large portion of the lead in the pot!
But for me, the biggest advantage is being able to use most of the lead before having to refill the pot. Most offerings suggest that you never take a their pot below 1/2 full before replenishing the pot. The RCBS only requires one to one and one half Inches of depth for safe use without burning up the heating element. This is a huge advantage when casting a lot of bullets!
Happy? Yep, I should say so!
