Review for
Troy T-Sling, Padded
The sling appears to be made out of good materials, properly stitched, with all associated slides and attachments working as designed. There is a padded section but the design of where it was placed seems odd to me. Normally the padded section would be near one or the other end so that when the sling is carried over your shoulder the padded section is at the top of your shoulder providing a comfortable carrying of a rifle. They have placed the padded section more centrally located on the sling which seems to me to be an odd choice. If I were hunting with this sling with a heavier gun this would not be an appropriate sling for that purpose. But since I am putting this sling on a light carbine and only using it occasionally so that my hands are free this product works for me.

Superior Feel & Appearance
Written on Feb 24, 2024
I bought two Hogue Monogrips for my Colt Python Combat Elite. Beside the Pau Ferro Checkered grips I also got the Rubber Monogrip. Hogue has a unique mounting system totally different from the Colt factory grips. It is very important to read the instructions carefully because there is only one correct way to slip the grips onto the butt of the pistol. The fit, finish, feel, and appearance of these grips are truly outstanding! Having never owned a monogrip before I had no idea at the time of purchase what I was buying. I had it in my mind that I was getting two-piece grip panels but that is not what these grips are. The Hogue one-piece system appears stronger and more durable while providing a much more conforming fit to the hand. If you are looking for great grips and a great value, buy the Hogue Monogrip.
