After a 3 month wait to receive this, I was excited to build an upper using this handguard because of the style (looks great) and the features like all of the QD sling attachment points, the light weight, and ease of installation due to not needing to time the barrel nut to install the gas tube. The key feature to prevent the guard from rotating or wiggling are the tabs at the receiver end. There was a lot of wiggle due to the loose fit of these two tabs and even tightening all of the screws did not prevent the handguard from rotating slightly about 5 degrees either side. I tried it on several mil spec uppers and had the same issue with all. I re-boxed it and sent it back. I have ordered and installed UTG, Midwest, and Timber Creek handguards and they were all similar in design and installation and the tabs fit snugly onto the upper. Poor quality control or poor design resulting in a small issue that no one who actually shoots what they build will tolerate.
