I have bought 3 Trybe PVS 14's from optics planet. 2 of them have been great! One was around 2050 FOM, the other 2450 FOM, but the last was 1800 FOM with bad threads leaving it unable to mount. I had to send that one back. All three had minimal to no defects. Defects are to be expected when you are not able to view pictures of the units prior to purchase. No defect was even distracting unless you have OCD. If that is you then you should buy from someone that will show you screen pictures before buying.
I have been happy with them and there price so far. I wish the last one had been serviceable too. Anyhow, buy one when on sale and purchase the lowest level of FOM you can accept happily. Then expect the lowest level promised with a couple little specs and you will not be let down. Then enjoy it.

Would not lock up at the bayonet mount.

I have tried 2 of these now. They both wobble/shake very much just one connection point above the interface of each pvs 14 and the mount. Nothing to be tightened that remedies the issue. This mount though would not even connect to my Rhino ll mount at the bayonet mount. Just would not click in place. So I would not recommend this to anyone.
Not sturdy enough for my liking.

I checked every fastener i could and it still shakes. There is a connection point on each side that is not able to be adjusted. I will be sending it back for a refund.
Laser is usable. The light is a feet forward Flood.

It took 3 weeks to get it, but I like it. It is a flood from my feet forward, so definitely not intended for any forward throw just a massive spill. The laser works well though!
Fit well, but the controls are finicky.

They fit well and sound great when adjusted properly. The controls are overly sensitive, though. I tried wearing a beanie and also a balaclava, not possible. If anything puts pressure or brushes against it goes poorly.
