Can't beat the price

Like the other reviewer, I also transitioned to this from a factory-installed Magpul MOE handguard. The reduced diameter, addition of a top pic rail, and aluminum surface really improve real estate and support hand purchase. Several users have now commented on the improved grip.
Install was easy enough to do solo in a pinch. Make sure you put the bottom piece on first, then top. The pieces fit together beautifully once aligned, without any real slop to write home about.
Rail covers did not come with mine, but that's fine. I'll be looking for my own set down the line.

Reliability issues

Got a pair of these because they were fairly economical compared to most other 10/22 magazine options mid-pandemic. Kind of takes up a silly amount of space considering a 10 round capacity. We had issues with poor feeding & entire columns of rounds getting stuck inside the magazine body that we just didn't experience with the stock magazine. Will see if it breaks in and operates more smoothly over time.

Day zero upgrade for any 10/22

Easy installation (video readily available online), immediately improves bolt catch and release on any Ruger 10/22. No more fiddling around to try and get the bolt back home for your next string of fire. You could just as easily take a dremel to the stock piece and get a similar result, but at this price point, it makes a lot more sense to just get one of these and call it a day.

Instant improvement to efficiency.

A no-brainer upgrade for the Ruger 10/22. Quick installation and immediately improves ease of weapon charging over the stock handle. It's a bit pricey for what it is. The rubber piece that interfaces with the original charging handle doesn't like to stick, and the factory locking plate that comes with the 10/22 won't fit with this installed. Still, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and I plan to have one of these on every 10/22 I ever own.
