Light is bright, unlock strobe with 10 consecutive quick on/off clicks. Then when you dry fires and pull the bolt back and release it that is enough to make the light flicker let alone firing. Good luck, might look elsewhere for the next one.
Had to use a forstner bit to drill the plastic out on the screw head side. The screws as others have stated in other reviews are not long enough. They aren’t long enough before you clamp onto a rail while test fitting and especially not long enough when you are. Second hole while on the gun, I drilled trough all of the plastic before catching a thread on the nut, there was enough plastic within to keep the screw tight. It will stay on the gun until it doesn’t then I’ll look for something else, you should also look for something else
Bought this for “large” pistol concealment, does that and so much more. Able to hold everything I’d need in a get home bag. Currently configured with a pistol, 4 mags, and and extra box using all of the various Vertx Tactigami attachments. All loaded up I’m sitting at about 15 ish lbs. with no bulges or protrusions to give anyone any indication what’s inside. However, the bag itself being so large might attract attention on its own.
after several attempts at lower budget spring kits and obtaining punches and honing stones i finally know what a great operating trigger feels like. I was able to work my mil -spec parts appropriately to get the feel, but the key work in the last sentence is "operating". When using lighter powered springs in stock parts you run the risk of light primer strikes and using set screws to limit pre-travel can result in unsafe seer re-engagement. The Geissele trigger alleviated all ofthes problems, operates as intended with impressive feel and reset.
These 10 rd 3rd Gen PMAGS were used by me for a hunting set up. Had to source the minus 5 round limiter base plates from Amazon when it was time for me to purchase and would still be the same case today. Everything fits really tight and true, no complaints there. ONly complaint overall is that the covers do not fit over a mag loaded with 5 rds of .300 Blackout with the limiters installed. and the rds protrude enough that i cannot insert a mag with 5 rds full into my rifle with the bolt in the forward position. Have to install with 4 or less or install with bolt locked back and send home to load a round. NO 5+1 in the rifle.
Is a nice Dust Cover for an FDE build. Really tied in the last of the aesthetics. I like the plastic finish as it opens softer and more silently. This went on a .300 AAC build for deer hunting that wants to have everything needed to stay quiet in the woods
