works with remington 700

Review for
MDT Metal AICS SA 12 Round Rifle Magazine
Used with my magpul enhanced remington 700 6.5 creed. It feeds very well with the magpul pro 700 stock. Magazine secures smoother than polymer mags and detaching is just as smooth.
With that said you'll have to notch out the feed ramp slightly if your loading longer than saami spec rounds in my case i bought the mag without the binder plate.

I bought item ML2771G for my N frame Smith & Wesson 629. As others have stated this install is for the experienced. First you have to use a #54 drill bit if you want to re-use the factory pin. My experience with that tiny bit wasnt a good one so i decided on using a 1/16 drillbit in hopes i can find a 1/16 pin.
The front sight doesnt have the same pattern below as factory sights so you will have to carefully drill another hole behind the factory one and slightly higher for the pin to catch otherwise you are out of luck.
Next the rear sight. The spanner wrench i had didnt fit the captured bolt so i made my own spanner using a 3/16 slotted screw driver that i grinded down the middle with a dremel. Next your will notice the slotted screw is now too big to fit inside the rear sight housing so i used a 15/64 drill bit and expanded the hole just deep enough so the slotted screw would fit inside.
The end result is a nice looking tritium sight thats plenty bright at night.
Overall there limited options for revolvers so yes I would recommend these as they are superior to factory original but if youre installing these yourself thread carefully and take your time. Otherwise i could see a higher premium if you were to get these done by a gun smith

Idk if I installed wrong or what but unlike the stock handgrip this rotates excessively which I think contributes to a malfunction. What I realized is you cannot pump hard to try and feed the next round or you will damage the indents where the cocking levers rest. I wish I could upload a picture to show what I mean. If it wasn't for that this product would be a full 5 stars.

Defective couldn't make it work

First off this is solely for an AR. I thought it would work for a ruger precision rifle but the notch on the cylinder is beveled. For an RPR is has to be flat just a heads up. I proceeded to install it on my AR15 since it is a very nice selector switch but come to find out it is out of spec. It's longer than the width of the lower receiver and to top it off it will not cycle through fire mode/safe even though you are supposed to use the supplied detent. I tried using my same detent from my existing selector switch to no avail. No matter how I aligned this selector switch it wouldn't cycle.

Awesome however

This bolt shroud really balances the weight and if you upgraded your trigger this is definitely alot smoother than factory.a word of caution though; the printed instructions are vague and online tutorials are kinda the same so read, re-read and watch the videos and pay full attention when you're about to install this new bolt shroud. Be especially careful if you also replaced the cocking piece for a magnum.

Mechanical common sense required

So this mount slides into the optics rail from the rear of the rifle UNLIKE picatinny rails. Also, if you have a side folder like mine you'll have to Uninstall your buttstock which is nothing and slide this optics mount in FROM THE REAR. Be prepared to have blue lock tight before re-mounting your side folding stock. Lastly if you have a side folding stock you're gonna have to drop the folding stock to the bottom screw holes. There are 3 options for zastava m70 folding stock; top middle and bottom. Otherwise you will not be able to collapse your stock. Consider this optics mount semi-permanent as if you want to take it back off you'll have to remove your folding stock again to slide it out of the rail AND when taking the dust cover off; you'll now have to put extra effort to put back on.. no big deal. My last piece of advice is if you're using an eotech or an acog it'll be wise to get a quick detach mount. I am using an eotech exps2-2 which already has a qd mount. Aiming with iron sights without an optic and the mount in the way isn't bad but there is some distortion so be prepared to focus more on your front sight. It'll be wise to zero your iron sights before installing this optics rail. There are limited options for m70's and this is better than other options out there.
