A little too high for the holosun 403

I Know this is for a t1 But i had decided to try this with a holosun 403. With the 403 it sits to high to even see my irons which are also UTG "super slim low profile fixed sights". My previous red dot was a cheap field sport with a UTG riser mount that had a perfect lower 1/3. all and all this mount is made very well fit and finish wise but if you plan on using it for anything other than a t1 pull out the calipers and start measuring. Ended up buying the UTG absolute co-witness mount which gives me a decent lower 1/3.
-If your sight comes with a pic rail mount and is not a t1 you may be better off just buying a riser.

Not what i expected

Strike Industries SI Oppressor
First off if your getting this to mitigate blast and sound at an indoor range don't. It might do good for side blast but holy cow is it loud all the blast is directed forward and echo's back to the shooters. Comp is quieter indoors without this thing on and the fireball this thing throws out is huge. Outdoors this thing works as intended but you still get the fireball. Machining on this thing is excellent locks up solid even after mag dumps and comes on/off easy. This thing is heavy the longer your rifle the heavier its going to feel i have a 16" barrel oh and it looks cool.

flush fitting works like any other

no adjustment but fit and finish is perfect! if you have an older barrel that's parkerized with a pinned front post this block is a perfect match if you plan on adding a free float. not something i would recommend for a new parts build.

POF USA QD End Plate
This is a very well made piece fits flush follows the contours of a standard lower and retains a QD swivel very well.
Only had a few issues with these
- I have UTG heavy QD swivels had to take sandpaper and remove some of the material from the QD head for it to be able to fit minor issue. Other QD swivels i have fit fine
- The other issue your stuck with and that the swivels range is very limited maybe like a 5 degree range of motion and 4 positions but it keeps it out of the way of your hand.
all in all great product.
