As long as your gas tube is the appropriate length for your barrel you will not need a different gas tube.

This is the best option to replace an A2 front site/gas block that was installed on the bare barrel before coating it. This will cover the bare metal left after removing the A2 sight. It also installs easily, stays in place, and works flawlessly.

no adjustment but fit and finish is perfect! if you have an older barrel that's parkerized with a pinned front post this block is a perfect match if you plan on adding a free float. not something i would recommend for a new parts build.
