Beautiful Optic

Written on Feb 01, 2026

First of all, I could not believe what a deal Optics Planet had on this optic. I caught it on a sale but even that sales price was insane. I then combined it with my Veteran's Discount. If you didn't know, now you do. Shipping was very fast. Vortex ships this box with everything you need to install on a picatinny rail or almost any pistol that accepts optics. In my case in installed this on a Glock 47 gen 5 MOS. It came with the adapter plate to install on the pistol's MOS system and then it has bags and bags of screws labeled for the pistol they are designed to match with. Installed this bad boy and the glass is super clear and the adjustable reticle is tight and bright. Throw in it has solar power back up and shake awake and it will hold a charge for a long time. And of course rule #1 is look cool, this thing looks sick mounted on a full size Glock. I also installed the CCW version on a 43X MOS and it is equally DOPE!

Great Addition

Rule #1 is look cool. If you want your Glock 19 to look cool it is a must to have magazine extensions. Duh. These are great looking. They are also extremely functional. They give you added capacity without creating an impediment to operation. They are easy to install and the locking clamp on the back is a great way to secure the magazine. They are compatible with many magwells, specifically the SLR I currently have on my G19.5. I have bought these multiple times for various Glock 19s and clones. 10/10 do recommend.

Longer than average

I bought a Wilson Combat frame for my Sig 365XL. Recommend. However, I wanted the mag release button to be a little longer. (Story of my life. I have a thick palm but short sausage fingers) I bought this Strike Industries mag release for just that reason. It goes in easy, looks good with the WC frame, and it is a smidge longer to help with release. Personally, I would like it to be a little longer but that's just me. The quality for the price for the product is first rate.

Does what it is supposed to do

I previously ordered a threaded barrel for my G19 gen3 glockoff build. It was a blem so it was super cheap and did not come with a thread protector. Obviously I don't want to leave the threads flapping in the breeze to get damaged. This little dude fit right on perfectly. It came with two rubber O-rings, one of them is a spare. It looks good and it is solid. Yes, you can order something off AMZN from a company you can't pronounce or you can support Strike Industries and Optics Planet and know you are getting a great product at a great price.

Big addition small price

I wanted a compensator for my glockoff build. Many comps look cool until you strap it on and the lines don't match up with the slide, etc. This violates rule number one of gun ownership: Look Cool. With this item, you get a comp that does everything a comp is supposed to do, without it becoming a big eyesore. Small, simple, effective and for way less than the cost of everyone else's big blocky comp. The only con I have is that it does not come with an O-ring. Obviously, you don't want to put thread locker on the comp but I feel compelled to not only "lock" it on but also make sure it is lined up properly. I ordered a Strike Industries thread protector at the same time. It came with two rubber O-rings. I used one of them to install this comp. It added just enough thickness to enable this comp to go on super snug and line up exactly at the 12 o'clock position. Call me a poor if you must, but I have purchased several SI products for my pistols and ARs. Most of them have been great add ons at a great price.

Added Touch

Sometimes you just want a little more mass in the a$$..... of your pistol grip to help with recoil management. These weights are a cheap upgrade to provide that specifically for your Wilson Combat grips. These are made for the Wilson Combat 365 series/320 series grips. They slide in easily because they are smaller than the pre-formed slots. You will need to add material to get them to sit silently and not rattle. I've seen some people say they used a silicone. I personally wrapped a little strip of electrical tape around the top and shoved them in. You can feel the slight heft added once they are installed. Might only be a placebo effect for most people but mathematically it makes a difference and in cool factor it is an upgrade.

Top Upgrade Low Price

This is a high quality product from a reputable company that allows a great upgrade at a very reasonable price. You get a better grip on the pistol thanks to the contours built around the swell of the grip. You get a beautiful look with the design molded into the grip. You get a built in magwell. Make sure you are buying the correct grip based on whether or not you have the manual safety. They make a grip for with or without so don't worry. You can purchase the matching Wilson Combat tungsten weights for this grip separately. Comes with the channels to place them but does not come with them. The weights will fit loosely. I wrapped a tiny strip of electric tape around them to make them sit tight and not rattle. Whatever you have strapped to your current sig rail will fit onto the matching rail of the Wilson Combat grip. I have the Tactical Development Pro Ledge Rail that moved right over and fit like a glove.

Don't pay for a name

No, I have not shot this with a suppressor. Why? Because my suppressor is still being held hostage by the Fed Bois. Did I buy this because it is made of high quality materials, at a great price, and it is notched to redirect the extra gas coming from being on a suppressor gat? Yes. It looks good. It feels good to actuate. It has multiple features for a better price than other names. I recommend.

Great Back Up Sights

Written on Feb 24, 2024

Magpul so you know it's quality. Therefore, this is priced reasonably for the quality you know you are getting. These sights are easy to use, easy to adjust, easy to see. They co-witness with standard height red dots. Mine are centered in the window of an EOTECH mounted directly to the picatinny rail on top of the PSA-15 upper. If I ever lose battery power, I'm only two quick button pushes away from reengaging the target. The reason I only give four stars is, as a right handed shooter, I prefer the previous generation which had the activation button on the left side of the sight. This made it easier to flip the sights with minimal hand/rifle movement. The activation button on the MBUS 3 is in the middle of the sight. These are still great sights and unless you are nit picking you will be glad you purchased. I would give 4.75 if I could. I recommend buying as a complete set.
