Great product

I’m in the process of purchasing one of these for each of my Glock-pattern pistols. The two KynSHOT hydraulic guide rods I currently own have performed exceptionally well, with well over 1,000 rounds combined and zero reliability issues. I’ve successfully used them with a Radian RamJet, a factory barrel, a Zev Hypercomp, and a TTI Ballerina.
The biggest difference is the change in recoil impulse. Rather than simply reducing felt recoil, it makes the recoil cycle much more consistent and predictable from start to finish. During rapid-fire drills, it is noticeably easier to keep the sights on target and make fast, accurate follow-up shots.
Pros:
* Makes recoil impulse extremely predictable, especially during rapid strings of fire.
* Noticeably improves sight tracking and control.
* Significantly lighter and less expensive than tungsten guide rod systems that aim to address similar recoil characteristics.
* Eliminates much of the trial-and-error involved in tuning recoil springs.
* Runs reliably across a wide range of ammunition, from lighter target loads (“Jello Shots”) to hotter defensive loads such as Underwood.
Cons:
* The recoil impulse and slide-racking feel are different from a standard recoil system. If you shoot or train frequently, expect a short adjustment period as you retrain your muscle memory.
Note: If you’re installing this on a Gen 4 or Gen 5 Glock, you’ll need an adapter plug. NDZ Performance offers these in several color options.
