I waited 3 weeks after a full break in before judging these boots because I had high hopes. I’ll start with the good. Visually the boots look great, the tread grip is aggressive, supports the ankles very well, and the sizing is correct. Now the bad. The break in period was the worst I’ve ever experienced, destroyed my ankles and toes for a solid two weeks. The reinforcing strap that runs along the back of the ankle eats your ankles like wearing a $5 pair of plastic dress shoes with no socks and still hasn’t let up after a full break in. The toe box and composite toe just land wrong and wrap onto the big toe right after the joint. Now the worst. The insoles are complete garbage, it’s just a hard plastic shallow basin of suffering. I pulled them out finally and put some new ones so I’ll actually be able to wear these boots their full life span. These boots could be so much better

Got a bolt and firing pin sitting around? Want to take the cheap route and still end up with a decent BCG? Look no further! I got the Nickel Boron and the finish was decent enough. Nothing “enhanced” about this carrier but it’s a tried and true standard construction that’ll get the job done.

As I’m maturing and pulling away from tacticool and aiming more for function, I look back at this purchase and know exactly why it’s on a shelf with other parts and not on a rifle. As far as function, it does nothing more than any cheap milspec stock besides pull your beard hair on that rubberized cheek rest. The changeable buttpads don’t fit flush but feel fine. It’s snug enough on the buffer tube. Once you move on to something like BCM or B5, you’ll never consider a buttstock like this again. It’s a phase for early builders but it works as intended so I won’t be too harsh.

A full package of form and function for a great price. It’s everything you need from an mlok handguard: super easy installation, solid mounting, anti rotation tabs, and the stylish look is a real bonus. It’s lightweight, not the lightest but definitely light enough. I’ve bought direct from STNGR and also here on OP. Love the company, very responsive friendly bunch. No issues recommending this product.

If you’re looking for a full mass carrier, look no further. This is the highest quality BCG I’ve ever seen, minus JP Enterprise which is more geared towards specific needs and problem solving. Paired this with a Geissele Super CH, they glide like butter. Cry once and get yourself something nice.

Just as good as Radian, I just prefer the hand feel more. Feels like a more positive grip. Just like the Geissele triggers, once I bought one I won’t settle for anything else. I own the Noveske/Geissele CH for the AR15 and this one for DPMS Gen 1, couldn’t be more satisfied. Cry once, spend the extra money and enjoy the additional quality.

I’ve owned Fab defense, DD, and Magpul; but BCM definitely wins them all. I made this buy as an alternative to the B5 I was eyeing but I’m so satisfied that I don’t think I’ll make that purchase. Awesome cheek placement, awesome shoulder pocket, nice and snug on the buffer tube but moves slots fairly easy. If I had to criticize it, you need a firing pin or something similar size to stick in that hole to install or remove the stock. So don’t install this on your spicy short barrel because you may not get the stock off quick enough.

This thing is cringe, it’s the grip you buy on your first build when you’re unsupervised by someone who can give sound advice. The rubber seems to always be separating from the hard plastic, the texture/stipple is too much, the entire shape is just overbuilt and bulky. Go with BCM or B5 Systems, they have some great grip angles and storage caps and something simplified that works amazing.

Cry once, if I forget that motto I quickly get reminded on the very next build. Was having a number of feed/extraction issues with a cheaper bolt but this resolved all my issues and is known as one of the best bolts in the industry. Peace of mind means a lot, no one wants to pick up their rifle in an emergency and not know if it’s going to function correctly. Still run your malfunction drills, but with this bolt you are a lot less likely to experience the real thing.

Occasionally I turn on the flashlight being it’s on my daily carry. I never use it for more than a few seconds just to check the function but it routinely has a dead battery after about 2 weeks and a total of 10-15 seconds of run time on that battery. I’m past my return date and after the first battery died I thought it was somehow my fault and just replaced it. I know it isn’t coming on during the day accidentally because I’d notice a bright beam of light shining from my pants, it’s just has issues! ...On a side note, get something that is more supported by holster manufacturers
