Review for
SADLAK QD Post Assembly
My brand new Springfield M1A with synthetic black stock has round allen head screws holding in the swivel plate. The holes are an exact thread match for the ones is this kit. I ended up replacing one of the screws with the stud from this kit and keeping the swivel. All you need is a machine screw swivel stud. That being said, this kit would definitely be a great solution if your sling swivel is riveted on. Sadlak makes quality stuff.

Pretty brainless scope mounting.

My .22 mag came with a picatinny rail. The scope I bought came with rings for a Weaver rail. I used a one peice rail on my Marlin 336W and it worked great. One piece is the way to go if you can do it. The rings are already aligned so that's not a concern. The base locks all the way with three rather beefy screws and hex nuts. One of the mounting screws is the stop screw, so it won't slip on the rail. Love it!

Inexpensive, bright, sharp, easy to use.

I bought a Vortex Copperhead 4x14x44 scope for my .22 magnum rifle. It works, but is not as bright, and definitely not as sharp as this scope, which is $90 less. I will be returning the Vortex. Both of my Simmons scopes work well on my rimfires. They are quality units and I love the replaceable turrets. I have 4 scoped rifles (Nikon, Cabelas, Simmons, and Vortex). The Vortex was the most expensive at $150 and all the other scopes are better.I am really happy with Simmons. I would buy another in a heartbeat.
