I like the option of using my regular sights in case something comes right under your deer stand which I've had happen before. The Leapers medium 1" see thu mount gives that option and I highly recommend it.

The Leapers AccuShot UTG 1 Piece Medium Profile 1in Picatinny Mount has been designed to provide shooters with the perfect platform on which to mount their optics. This Ring and Base Combo from Leapers are made with user friendly hex screws with retention features and a full length locking plate to guarantee easy installation and a secure fit. The Leapers UTG AccuShot Mount is made from a precision machined, aircraft grade aluminum alloy that has an anodized black matte finish. The Leapers AccuShot UTG Mount was developed to work with all picatinny and weaver rails. For a great way to make sure you are shooting with the best possible mounting gear, choose the Leapers UTG AccuShot Mount.
