Griffin Armament Suppressor Alignment Check Rod Up to $4.95 Off w/ Free S&H — 7 models
I can't find anything special written up about the Mossy's barrel or rifling profile, so it's probably normal stuff, not hexagonal or multi-groove. It seems the Mosquito was made by GSG for SIG so they could come in under a certain price point that SIGs are not normally known for, so that makes it double-normal. I would chalk this up to possibly leading in the barrel, or perhaps a slightly tapered barrel at the crown. This can happen to guns that have threaded barrels and someone threads something on it and pushes down a little too hard, shrinking the bore a tiny bit. Yes, it's a thing, especially on thinner barrel stock.
My Geissele 5.56 alignment rod would absolutely not fit through my M&P 5.7 barrel, it was too big. So I did some research and found that the M&P 5.7 bore was more like a 22LR bore, and gave the Griffin rod a chance as it was designed for 22LR. It was...

I purchased the GA Suppressor Alignment Check Rod after my GA 30SD was released from BATFE jail, and am I ever glad I did.
The OEM muzzle brake on the Tavor 7 will accept the GA Gate-Lok system, so I mounted the suppressor and checked with the align...

This isn't a review but a response to Aaron 1 star 12/11/2022 review. H&K factory barrels have polygonal rifling (hills and valleys) not conventional lands and grooves like majority manufactured barrels. The polygonal shape create a tighter seal for ...

If you have a suppressor then you need one of these. I have two of them now and they're both straight as can be. In the past I bought some rods from an industrial supplier and cut them down to 18" to make my own suppressor alignment rods, but they ...

Always great to check your gear before using and this is something everyone should have if they are shooting suppressed. OP always ships fast and the customer service is amazing. I will be buying more for my other cans. Thanks and I highly recommend.
This alignment rod fits perfectly into my 1911 45 barrel but surprisingly not my H&K USP tactical 45. When I wrote to customer services, I was told my 45 was out of spec. This was also surprising because I have only shot factory ammo and only have a ...

Product Info for Griffin Armament Suppressor Alignment Check Rod
With the appropriate Griffin Armament Suppressor Alignment Check Rod, an end user or gunsmith can verify alignment of the chosen suppressor and mount with the desired host. Installation and use of this tool is simple and should prevent baffle strikes or any unexpected issues once you get to the range.
Griffin Armament has gone to great lengths to accommodate a wide variety of thread pitch and caliber options across our silencer mount and adapter products. This gives practically every end user who wishes to suppress their host the opportunity to do so! With this wide range of compatibility comes its own set of issues, the main one being silencer and mount alignment to the host firearm's bore.
To use the Suppressor Check Alignment Rod:
1. Properly mount your silencer to the host firearm
2. Insert Suppressor Alignment Check Rod down bore of the silencer and into the host firearm bore until the end of the rod is flush with the end-cap of your silencer
3. Observe alignment and confirm rod is positioned near the center of the silencer bore (refer to images above for examples of proper alignment and misalignment)
4. Host firearm may need to be rotated around bore to confirm alignment due to tolerance between the bore and check rod.
5. If mount and silencer are in alignment, remove rod and enjoy your suppressed firearm!
