Not what i was expecting - Griffin Armament Suppressor Alignment Check Rod

This alignment rod fits perfectly into my 1911 45 barrel but surprisingly not my H&K USP tactical 45. When I wrote to customer services, I was told my 45 was out of spec. This was also surprising because I have only shot factory ammo and only have a few hundred rounds threw the gun. So when I tried the alignment rod on my brother's H&K Mark 23 (also with treaded barrel), same thing, it did not fit! Sounds like to me, this product is assumed to work for all 45 barrels but it does NOT. I will have my machinist take a couple of thousands off the rod to make it work. I hope someone does their homework next time before assuming.
