This adapter must have been a return item, can see scuff marks all over. Also the folding bracket is extremely loose so much my buffer easily moves up and down once folding out to shoot. Disappointed in getting an obvious used item, I have a Hera on my other bolt action. Fold with a solid click from the indents and absolutely no flexing.

Not sure if this is a legit brand new part or was a return. the thread cover was on there as if it was loctite on……. And I understand this threads are lefty thread but I had to use a heat gun and a bit of force to crank it off. This should have been hand tightened, nevertheless was able to get it off using heat gun to loosen it up. Haven’t popped any rounds through it yet, but I’m assuming it will still shoot straight.

Got this for my MDT LSS gen2 chassis married to a Ruger American .300 blackout. Perfect fit seamlessly flows into the chassis and only area you really will notice is the hinge bump. Once it’s all locked in and tightened down it’s rock solid!! Once again rigid as the frame itself. The only area I notice others might whine about is that, with the bolt action when racking and extracting, their could be some contact since the bolt hovers ever so slightly over the hinge. I’m no daisy so I absolutely don’t care if it scratches the area as long as it doesn’t imped the bolt in it’s operation. Which after 100 rounds at the range, I didn’t even notice any issues, and barely any wear on the area. Also this is not for a standard AR that uses a buffer spring, just looking at it would tell you that …. Lol. Maybe of a HK mp or other AR types that do not use a standard cycling mil spec buffer, weight and spring set up. It will be perfect, but for those that do …… it is absolutely not for those AR type platforms.

Got the stock off sister site DVor, mounted to my Ruger .300acc. Gives it the mini precision rifle look. But actually enhances the accuracy, groups just seem tighter since the foundation is so much more rigid. Nothing but solid groupings with my stock reloads, from 110grn up to 168grn. It really likes the 125grns the most those groups were consistently tight well within 1inch at 100 yds on 4inch circle. I will take it, especially using my basic and reliable 3x-9x vortex crossfire.

So got this off OpticsPlanet sister site DVor, it seems the one I got was a return came with a few tiny scoffs and can tell the mag release was messed with. Other than that this rig is solid and light. I had a magpul stock set up on a Ruger American .308 before and what a difference on look, weight and feel. With it being so ridged, the platform just stayed steady, recoil even on my shortened 16.1 inch barrel didn’t take me off follow up shots. With my Trash Panda suppressor, this tool is so nimble easy to move with and carry, it basically a bolt action AR with it being so light.
The only issue I had was installing the mag release, as I mentioned this seems to have been a return item. So no instructions included, tag was missing from the box and loosely packed. But figured out the 2 steel pins were used to hold the spring so while you tap the main stake through. After that, main install of the receiver to this new body is beyond easy. Best thing even more unlike my magpul which I had to basically breakdown the rear Stock to remove the Cheek rest to remove my bolt action, this rig allows me to remove my bolt with a simple twist to the right while it’s back out out and bolt release engaged. Just lovely. For long arms will need a few more spacers I need like 2 more to make it perfect.

Beyond surprised, with this budget scope actually got in on optics sister site DVor.com for $119. I have used this scope on my Ruger American .308 and holds zero only had the chance to reach out to 500yds on steel but did so with ease at full zoom. Clarity is comparable to my atibal Stryker that it just replaced on my primary .223 setup. Honestly so good I bought another when it was available again on sale for my other rifle. Come with clear flip up covers, no mount but at this price …… I’m ok with that. Adjustment for zoom is smooth, illumination for red and green is pretty good not a lot of wash out on high red illumination and the green outside works like a charm very crisp. Overall very pleased with this budget buy, close to quality of other scopes costing 5-10 times this price.

Not sure what the negatives are the install was beyond simple, slide off the old slide on the new. You only will have issues if you don’t know how to position the trigger cocker at the correct spot (line it up with the bolt handle bottom)….. with it in the right position the shroud slides right off.
