Ordered and received these pants and at first look they are GREAT pants. Lightweight well designed but after one wear I felt they tend to sag and fall slightly. I tried adjusting and found out one of the button for the belt loops came off. Had not even worn for more than a couple hours before I realized this. Not a huge issue as I am more than capable of stitching a button on but a bit of a disappointment for what otherwise seemed like a solid purchase.

Like the title says these magazines are GREAT fits! I wish Smith and Wesson would have called upon Promag to creaste the mags they include with the pistol! As we know the shield comes standard with a 7 round mag and an 8 rounder. Weird but kind of makes since for a single stack EDC type pistol. However due to the size of the pistol if you have hands larger than a 5th grader it can be cumbersome finding a good grip on the demure frame of the shield. The 8 round stock mag is ok but the 7 rounder not so great. Bless the angels @ Promag for solving that issue with these beauties! The slide into the shield magwell with ease. 10 round capacity I provides enough surface for any hand to find a nice comfy grip. These MAGS SIMPLY RULE!! Injust received the psd mags today so havent done any live fire yet but they cycle my snapcaps with ease. I wish these were available before I bought another brands “polymer” mags that just don’t feel right. If you need extra mags for your shield you can trust that these wiill deliver. Probably better than the se go ones!!

The last time I HAD to wear any type of personal protective ballistic equipment was over 10 years ago in the ARMY. Having said that this vest seemed to be a good civilian version of the kit we used during my “high speed low drag” days. It’s a bit lighter due to the softer material of the plates and less cumbersome since i also not carrying/wearing a ruck, ammo, water and rifle. It’s modularity and expandability is clear giving the various MOLLE cuts, hook/loop, areas, buckles and “bellyband” that can accommodate side plates or other gear and equipment. I’m (+/-) 6ft (71.5”) tall weigh about 215 and currently wear this daily (when working). Can’t speak to its true durability as I’ve never been struck by any incoming fire (knock wood) but as I said I feel @ least as safe and secure in this rig as I did with my old GI kit that was likely bought in bulk from the lowest bidding vendor our quartermaster could source. I do plan on acquiring 3 more (as bugout/end of days prep) and upgrading to level IV, however, until then I would recommend this vest as a good entry level buy you can expand or customize as you like.
