Top quality as usual, the machining is done very nicely, and there are no sharp edges. The QD mounts secure on tight without any slop.

Armaspec C Sound Mitigation Gen3 Buffer
The spring will bind up if there is as little as 45 degrees of clockwise rotation (twist) in the spring. Just 45 degrees will cause the spring to open up in diameter and it will not fit in the inner diameter of the metal buffer causing the spring to not compress inside the buffer and binding, when it binds you will not get full travel. You will have short stroke similar to having a rifle length spring in a carbine buffer tube (but worse) . This is not a reliable option for anyone who uses their weapon for self defense. I noticed this before I ever put a round through it as I was trying to lock the bolt back and it wouldn’t

Not worth losing adjustability and comfort for 0.6 oz compared to the MFT minimalistic
Bare tube is extremely heavy, its only 25% longer than a carbine buffer but weighs 73% more
Total weight for tube and pad is 9.2oz
Weight for Mil-Spec tube and mft minimalistic stock is 9.8oz and it’s adjustable
Mil-Spec tube 3.8 oz
Guntec tube 6.6oz

no gimicks, perfect function

Some bolt catches have fancy paddles that are more likely to catch on clothing. This one is perfect, bolt release is Milspec and bolt catch is extended enough to make it easy to operate, no gimmicks, just works

Item description shows aluminum but they are steel and magnetic. I was looking for aluminum crush washers because i have a lightweight pistol where every piece is weighed. Not cool bait and switch. 2 stars because they are still a decent product
