I bought this trigger several months ago and took my time (a couple of months) before I installed it. Installation was straight forward, simple and with no hiccups. The initial feel was great, but I took my time (a couple more months) before taking it to the range and really testing it out. After less than 20 rounds the reset began having problems. It quickly turned into a binary trigger. Cool, but no thanks that is not what I bought. I drafted an email to the customer service of Rise Armament explaining the symptoms and asking for help. To tell you the truth I really didn't expect much help other than to hear someone say "That's too bad" and then just give me the run around and make me justify everything before they would even consider helping me. To my surprise I received an email back within 24 hours telling me that my trigger was covered under warranty and they would send out another trigger. I received my trigger before I could even put the old one in the mail. OMG, who are these guys? In this day of commercialization, all too often "customer service" is not really customer service and are relegated to someplace outside of the United States to someone who has no idea of the product you are having problems with and are armed only with a script they read and rely on to "SOLVE" (NOT) your problem. I purchased this flashlight along with the rechargable batteries for my duty belt about 6 months ago. It seems to perform better with the rechargable batteries than the 3 volt lithium type. I bought this light to replace my aging surefire 6P which still works fine after 15 plus years of use, but I was looking for a brighter flashlight. Because I use the light for Law Enforcement I wanted a reliable and simple light that put out a lot of light. I have shyed away from LED lights in the past for many reasons. LED lights have always been very bright but they could not throw a useable beam of light far enough for my professional standards and they always seemed to be on the cheep side and not very durable. Over the past couple of years several fellow officers have purchased various LED lights that have finally caught up and surpassed the zenon or other old technology type bulbs for brightness, useability and distance. I have been extremely satisfied with the function and quality of this tiny light that is always at my side ready for whatever. I was also willing to pay a lot of money because this would be a professional light that that I have to stake my life on. Again technology has won the day. This light is not only functional, simple, super bright, and reliable, it is down right cheap for the shear amount of power and light that it delivers.
