Bought 2 to go on a elk hunt in Colorado. Get them both out and neither make an elk sound at all. Sounds like a dog toy squeaker. When I get back I’m returning them for sure. Don’t waste your money.
replacement stock

These stocks are pillar bedded and make quick work of a rifle build. Fit is awesome and I love the feel of the over molded stock. Tough as nails with fit and function. I have bought 7 of these stocks for use on Savage 110s and Ruger 10/22. Easy to swap out and affordable.
Hogue Stocks are good to go!!

This is the best stock for me. This is one of the first upgrades I make. This stock is pillar bedded and tough as nails. My application is Iowa deer hunting with a Savage 110 swapped to a 35 Whelen heavy barrel. This definitely fits the need. I couldn’t be happier. I have Hogue stocks on 2 of my 10/22 builds and hand grips on all my AR-15’s. With Hogue you don’t have to wear gloves in the cold.
good solid scope for the price

I haven’t had the scope in the field to test the durability but at the range it does fine. The scope is clear and has a good focal view. I have put it on a AR platform and it performs as it should. Clear glass and a strong tube on these scopes.
rough finished stock

The stock is for a hunting rifle build so I don’t need a high level finish. I was not impressed with the splinters and the roughness. Anything that was not exposed needed hand sanded. In my build it doesn’t matter because I am glass bedding the rifle. The fit was good for the barrel and action swap. The finished exterior had a few dents in the stock. It doesn’t bother me because this rifle will be drug through the brush.

Timney builds a solid trigger. I upgrade all my AR’s to Timney triggers. Reasonably priced and very consistent products.
Barnes good ammo

Barnes is always a good quality ammo. I use Barnes bullets when deer hunting and it performs as it should with respectful accuracy. Barnes ammo seems consistent but I have not run it through a chronograph to check.
