Wow, this light is so bright it looks like a headlight in the dark. I can see all the way across the neighborhood. It is just a little bit heavy for carrying in your backpack but so very much worth it when you need that much power. I haven't used it long enough to see how long the batteries last but will soon when I go deer hunting next month. I really like it!

I purchased this to use on a tripod mount. By clamping this device, I can mount a large rifle scope to my tripod and use it as a spoting scope. Seems like a good way to use a high end rifle scope with zoom and get much wider fields of view for spotting game. Works for me just fine.

Placed this filter on my Armasight NYX 14 NV device and saw many ghost images from adjacent small lights. It may keep the dust off the primary lens, but would hesitate to leave it on if there is a moon out. I am fairly critical of optical performance since I am a optical engineer and look only for the best optics to buy. I bought a different filter and there was a big difference in quality. I threw the filter away since return shipment would have cost more money than what I paid for it.

I purchased this item for my Armasight NYX 14 Gen 3 to mount on my AR. The quick release mounts very nicely to my AR and locks in very solid, It is adjustable for a tight fit on your Picatinney and also locks in to the NV device well. Since the NYX 14 is mostly suitable for a helmet wear, the mount conversion on the NYX 14 is necessary, I am pleased with the mount adapter and look forward to long service. I may have to raise the mount when I install a 3x lens on the NYX 14, but not sure yet how much I may have to raise the line of sight. So far all is great!

I purchased a NYX-14 Gen 3 Monocular which was a demo from Optics Planet. I was a little skeptical about open box items, but to my surprise, this item looks and operates like new. It has the resolution stated since I can easily see a dog at 100 yards in total darkness. I expect to use this device to find wildlife in the dark and I have no doubts it will do the job. I have ordered a 5x lens for it to reach out a little further and wish to see small wildlife at 200 yards but will require some extra illumination. It is yet to be determined if I can do that, so far I am very happy with this product.

Received this product with high hopes of fun times but sadly I had issues right off the bat. The focus knob was so difficult to turn I almost had to use pliers and one can not make fine focus adjustments. The SD card would not load, so I tried two others, and none would load properly so not able to record any video. The buttons for various functions worked intermittently, and the extended power source battery would confuse the on and off switch. I could not get it to turn off consistently. The day time color balance is a bit to red and I did not care for it. Therefore, I sent the item back for a refund. Three weeks later I am still waiting for the refund. The return label offered was so slow (my choice), the product arrived two weeks later. I still favor Optics Planet for their products and service, I just had bad luck with this ATN item. I will continue to purchase from Optics Planet since I believe it was not their fault. They are responsive and sell good products. I have bought several products from Optics Planet and they are great!

I purchased a VX 6 Leopold 3-18x50mm with side focus CDS reticle and was disappointed when I received it, because the reticle had a void in the vertical post.. Must be once in a blue moon time when a quality inspection slipped through the crack. However, Optics Planet allowed me to exchange it with no penalty or restocking fee. It was not any fault of Optics Planet since the scope is sealed in the box and one can not determine the condition of the scope when mailed out. My only concern is that it takes about 10 working days for processing the exchange which I think is to long for such an expensive item. Hope to receive a good one next week sometime before I can evaluate the optics and structural integrity. Perhaps I could give the scope a higher rating if the second one is up to standards.
