Excellent pencil barrel

I've used this barrel on a bolt-action AR15 build. It groups well with cheap 55gr ammunition, groups do not open up with heat (it is a manual action version I am firing). I'm impressed and I am stepping up into the 75 to 77gr ammunition to take advantage of the 1-8 twist. You may miss it in the description, the barrel has 5R rifling. Tight fight in the billet upper receiver I am using, no play.

So I use these barrel nuts to AR builds without a gas system, both pistol caliber blowbacks and bolt action AR. It locks down the barrel nice and tight. You can use a carbon fiber tube with a 35mm inner diameter (plus a slim piece of shim material) and you have a skinny handguard you can cut to any length.
