SureFire Micro Scout LED Weapon Light Pro
Right out of the box switch not working. First time buying a Surefire. Always wanted one just could never justify the ridiculous price tags but for this ultralight build I said screw it lets drop the absurd amount of coin and get the lightest torch out there. First off, even if this was a perfectly functioning light there is absolutely no reason it should be over $100. It is a very basic light with a good bulb head and good flip mount and housing but that’s about it. For $300 this is a joke. I’m familiar with other Surefire lights and at least the crazy price tag is a bit more justifiable on most any other model and would give you more bang for buck ratio. I will give it this to be fair, it is ultralight and appears to be well built for what it is and the bulb is excellent for its size with a good refraction pattern and a very bright 300 lumens. If it worked it would be great for indoor defense and I’d even venture to say while not ideal, I’d take it hunting. Obviously not as a spotlight but for mainly tracking and engagement out to say 50 yards if you still have decent eyesight. I called Surefire earlier and their customer service was quick and good. They are sending out a new switch no questions asked so that’s good. I’d really like to support a made in USA buisness but Surefire is making it hard. For the price of this light their QC should be the best in the buisness and I just don’t see any excuse for a $300 basic pencil light to not operate correctly right out the box. I

Geissele Super Charging Handle
Ergonomical, fit and finish good, smooth engagement, well made, good choice for gloved users and scoped weapons. Would definitely recommend. Geissele prices gets you Geissele quality. I don’t know about the gas redirection claims for those that use a can. I don’t see anything special about this that would redirect blow back however I cannot confirm because I do not use a can.

Pretty nice

Serves its function well. Fits pretty good, slight amount of play where it recesses into lower however that isn’t any fault of the manufacturer as every rifles specs aren’t going to be precisely the same. My only gripe and it’s a minor gripe is that the finish isn’t the best in the world. Looks ok. Whatever, I’d definitely recommend.

Jacob Grey Firearms Safety Selector Switch
This is the most ergonomical best feeling safety switch ever. Perfect short throw quick well placed switch that actuates very smoothly. Hands down best switch I’ve seen if you wear gloves. Fit and finish good. Aesthetically pleasing. Note, this will not perfectly align with standard 90 degree fire/safe stamped lettering on your lower as it is 45 degree throw. Doesn’t bother me and can be remedied with a touch of paint or sticker to make a visual alignment or just line the switch up with the safe lettering so that you know for sure when you are not in battery. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Good job on this Jacob Grey.
