I have nothing but good things to say about this scope.

Written on May 10, 2024

This is kind of a cut and paste of my other review, however I got this as a dedicated forward optic for a Vortex hog hunter which is has been great ! I built a modular base for it out of a quick release cut in half ad drilled, so its a forward hard rail lock. forward scope mount (on scope) stand alone and a handy spotter on its own. This is my 3rd Pard.

I have quite a bit of experience with Night Vision and Thermal as in owning several different units for shooting and spotting, and have 40 years of experience. I'm a big fanboy of Optics, as the only REAL major advance in the last 40 years has been optics. I have a Gen 1 Russian scope that was my first Night Vision and an old Redfield 2x long eye relief before the age of zero parallax holographic prism scopes. Going just off of the specs and features I purchased this unit and let me tell you....I'm blown away. First and most important is resolution, I would say its more like a 400x300, even close to my older 640 scope. The 12um (pixel size) and 25 NETD (electronic noise) maximizes the sensor resolution. The refresh is totally silent and minimal and there must be an internal proprietary system of some sort that "clarifies" the resolution as well, for it is outstanding. Moving on to other features, this unit is very compact and lightweight, even to the point as mounting on a lever gun and not looking too bulky. It can easily double as just a handheld spotter and 5 different ammunition profiles in memory for bullet drop compensa

Great Little Kit, Band Aid included is cute.

Good quality (AT3 has god parts overall) has many all you need for that "Opps" moment. Get 2, one for bench and one for grip storage. Never know when some work needs to be done "in the field" and you WILL loose one of these parts eventually.....just a matter of time. If you get in a bind and need a part QUICK just spend and few hundred bucks more (you know you want to) and select the 2 day air from Optics Planet and it there...Boom ! Or just get 2 or 3 now :)

My only negative review

Top quality product Under ratted

Written on Oct 21, 2023

Great Quality adjustable trigger system, however is geared more to a "pro" then just a drop in. Will need to be careful with adjustments and use quality bits (wheeler kit available on Optics Planet is good low priced kit and good quality) and use JUST a Tiny bit of Loctite blue. Be sure to have 100% positive seating when adjusting. If too "tight" selector might not feed in easily, which I adjusted to about zero tolerance. I was able to pull creep down to zero and maybe 2mm in trigger travel. This could be used for precision and/or 3 gun. Once again get this unit if you want to adjust yourself and pay attention and you will have an outstanding comp level Trigger System. Thanks !

Odin works is the best Adjustable Buffer

Written on Oct 21, 2023

Real simple, this is the best when working with exotic calibers or configurations, you will want to have the adjustable feature of this Buffer for a fully "tuned" AR platform system.

Great Quality and nice fit and finish

Great Quality and nice fit and finish, not much more to say about a little part, however Optics Planet is always great too !

Great product, little "arrow pin" is worth the 10 buck alone

Written on Oct 21, 2023

So with mil spec factory triggers installation, I usually use a cut stock or punch to align group parts then slide the pins in, not too hard, however with this kit and "arrow pin" (which is great, what onw would expect from Wilson combat) the job becomes super easy ! Highly recommend, good job Bill !

Excellent Scope, way more features then competition and Thermal Sensitivity is Outstanding

Written on Oct 21, 2023

So I have quite a bit of experience with Night Vision and Thermal as in owning several different units for shooting and spotting, and have 40 years of experience. I'm a big fanboy of Optics, as the only REAL major advance in the last 40 years has been optics. I have a Gen 1 Russian scope that was my first Night Vision and an old Redfield 2x long eye relief before the age of zero parallax holographic prism scopes. I "took a chance" considering there is little on the review side of this product online. It can easily double as just a handheld spotter and 5 different ammunition profiles in memory for bullet drop compensation. It has WIFI hookup for external viewing and a bunch of other electronic features too long to list. One of the most important factors is battery, as the 18650 is common and holds a better charge then 123a batteries, and there are adapters to use 123a in a pinc
