Incredibly difficult to mount, first take off the barrel, then sights, please make sure that you have the right hex wrenches-non of mine worked. I just mounted the rear part and mounted a fore arm that I had. Worked well with that combo.

When I start a review with-- Great product, consisted quality, you have to believe it's the truth!
I've purchased several of the 10.5" uppers as well as several 16"
models as well. All were perfect!
Don't worry about quality with these products, justvbuy them!

This is the third Trybe 10 1/5" complete upper that I've purchased, one for me, anotjer for my brother and the last for my son-in-law. Each one was perfectly crafted and each one shot perfectly with sights from Optics Planet. I highly recommend this product-consistant craftsmanship is important to me and Optic Planet delivered every time!

This 10 1/2" baby is Perfect! I liked mine so much I just ordered one for my son-in-law!! His birthday is coming up and he's going to love being able to switch out uppers and just plain having fun with this.
Pair this with a red dot-green dot scope and a .22 conversion kit I got from Optics Planet and we can shoot all afternoon up at our cabin.
Don't think about this----just order it!

Perfect Home Defense Weapon

This upper at 10 1//" is just the right size for a personal general purpose Ar 15.
I put one of your small flashlights on one side of an M LOK that I installed (easy to install!) along with one of your small laser on the other side.
I choked up one of your lowers with a ten round magazine and turned it in to the perfect "Around the corner" home defence gun. It is small enough to manuver in any of the tight spots in my house.
Just put one together and see for yourself!

First: The 10 1/2" Trybe Upper is a great product, but more than that,
Second: 16" barrels are great for most purposes, however, sometimes they are just too long. That's why a 10 1/2" barrel is just right for some situations.
Third: The shorter barrel is perfect for smaller places, it swings with ease and it makes it perfect for "point and shoot" situations. It makes a wonderful "around the corner" gun; partner it with a MLOK platform and a small but powerful flashlight and a small laser and it makes a perfect home invasion weapon.
That is what I did with my rifle.

Over the years I have put together many AR'S, and the Trybe Defense products have always made the job easier and more professional. I would recommend these to my friends and having just the name made them easier to sell.

I'm using this upper to build my second AR15 with PlanetOptic parts. They make it so easy!
I recommended this option to two of my friends and they are going to do the same thing that I did.
