Lucid Optics Advantage 6-24x50 Rifle Scope
I wanted a scope for a new rifle build and came across this scope from recomendations and generally good reviews from different websites. I ordered one because it meets my needs on paper and the price was great. Scope arrive in a big optic planet brown box with the scope in a white box wraped in bubble. I opened the box and immediately tried to focus on my neighbors chimney which is about 250 yards away, notice that I can not get a clear focus. Tried turning the ocular adjustment all the way ( also tried adjusting parallax) both directions and still was not able to get a clear focus the following day went to the range to try the scope again and at 300 yards focus is so bad I can not see any details on my paper target I only see a white square no other detail is recognized. Move to 100 yards and was able to focus at the target with a crisp clear picture colors were vibrant but the ocular adjustments were already max out at 100 yrds. Then a friend noticed that the front glass was dirty from the inside which might cause the problem. I contacted Lucid and sent them a picture of the problem and they said they can not see any problem from the pictures I sent, so I sent the same picture this time side by side with a picture of my PST they might have thought the dirt was just shadows. They offered to have the scope check but I opted to return the scope for for exchange. The replacement arrived in 10days with shipping paid by Opticsplanet. This time the glass was clear went to th
