These suspenders were purchased with EDC/CCW in mind. Think of these less as "suspenders" and more of "minimalist LBV". In most cases, I like to wear suspenders over my undershirt to provide more support for my belt when I'm carrying concealed. Depending on where I'm going and what I'm planning on doing, I may also have other things on my belt -- a spare magazine, a knife/multitool pouch, a cellphone pouch, etc. I figured these suspenders would be a nice upgrade to what I had. And to that end, I can say they're VERY well made. Very high quality material. They seem like they would last along time, however, these suspenders have one large flaw.
You can see this flaw if you watch the youtube video where Kyle Lamb demonstrates how to put these on. They're designed to hook onto your belt loops at 3 and 9 o'clock. This is prime belt real estate that you have now taken up with these suspenders. Want to carry IWB at 3 o'clock? Good luck. Your suspenders are now OVER the grip of your handgun. Want to carry that spare mag IWB at 9 o'clock? Nope. Now you have to fumble around your suspenders to yank that mag out of the pouch. Basically, anything you want to carry at 3 and 9 o'clock interferes with the suspenders, ESPECIALLY if you're carrying IWB. Even outside on your belt you get some interference.
This can be remedied somewhat by using the included belt loops provided. You can attach the suspenders a bit farther back on your belt. However, if you do that they won't support your pant

I purchased this to install on a Colt LE6920. Unlike Magpul handguards, the bottom piece is what is installed first. I slid the bottom piece forward to latch onto the front cap and then tried to lift the back end up to fit onto the barrel nut. I immediately encountered a problem. The two "wings" on the side -- the two tabs on either side just above the QD points that say "Vanguard" -- would not clear the teeth on the milspec barrel nut. Those wings curve inward and so they do not freely slide over either side of the teeth on the barrel nut. The plastic use on this handguard is VERY rigid so it's not just a matter of bending them out of the way slightly.
Out comes the file! I filed down the top pointy parts of those wings as well as the inside edges. Now I have a new problem. The wings clear the barrel nut but now, no matter how hard I smack the bottom of that handguard, it will not fully engage with the end cap so the barrel nut teeth will seat into the rear of the handguard. I even tried a rubber mallet. No dice. Would not budge. There was some issue with the handguard clearing the sides of the end cap. I figured that was the case because even before filing down those wings the fit on the end cap side was extremely tight.
End result - money wasted because the handguard won't fit and now it's mangled past the point of where my conscience will let me return it. It's now in the parts bin. One day I might find a use for it. I understand there's a +/- spec for fitment on AR15s

First off, I think it's important to state I have owned this optic in the past. I have also taken a fresh, unopened battery to multiple stores that carry this optic to try several other ones besides mine.
The #1 reason why I cannot recommend this optic is simple: it has MAYBE 3 usable daytime settings. Every single PRO I have tried (a sample size of perhaps 5 or 6) all exhibit this same issue. I have tried using both versions of the supported battery, the type 2L76 or DL1/3N, A/B both types of batteries in multiple units and the issue persists.
The Aimpoint website states this red dot has the following settings: "4 NVD and 6 Daylight, of which 1 extra bright". When looking through this optic inside a store with your typical store lighting, the dot is nearly invisible until you get to the 3rd most bright settings. Beyond that you have one more "normal" setting and the "extra bright" setting. So, in other words, half your daylight settings are useless -- and that's INDOORS. Outdoors on a sunny day, you will be using the extra bright setting all the time if you want to see the dot. I mounted this optic to a carbine with a 350 lumens light. I had to run the PRO on the second highest setting to not have it washed out by the weapon light. To get the optimal brightness for the type of quick, indoor, short rage shooting along with that light, I really had to run it on the extra bright setting.
This is unacceptable for an optic that costs almost $450.00. Keep in mind as well, batte

This tri-rail is a knock-off of a now discontinued Yankee Hill tri-rail. I have no experience with the Yankee Hill item, but the UTG model did not work. I was skeptical at how well this thing would hold up under recoil, especially with stuff attached to only one side of it. I installed it on a Colt LE6920 using one of the provided shims, making sure to use blue thread locker. I cranked the screws down good and tight. The thread locker was allowed to cure for about a week between when it was applied and when I took the gun out to shoot. My fears of how well it would work were well-founded, unfortunately. After about 50 rounds, one of the spacers flew out of the rail. The rail without both spacers rotated and slid down the barrel thanks to the light attached to the left side.
I could never get both shims fully inserted and flush with the rail. I suppose if you removed the screws and pried both sides apart more you could probably get both shims installed all the way. That might help with it staying put, but I don't care enough to try again. There's nothing holding the rail in place besides the rail and shims squeezing the barrel. The only control you have over that is how hard you tighten the screws. I have a feeling that whatever tension you apply would not hold up as the barrel heats up; it might be better to shoot a bit and then apply the tension while the barrel is hot. There's no instructions provided by UTG, so who knows. I'd be interested to hear how the Yankee Hill rail
