OE Factory Mags

Written on May 06, 2021

These are OE factory mags and good quality. Mags ran great without any malfunction. They are the 8 round stainless steel mags which is what came with mine as factory. Price was very reasonable for quality factory mags. Shipping was fast. Highly recommend.

Wow what a deal!

Written on Feb 06, 2018

Upgraded to the PA 1x6x24 from their entry level PA 1x4x24. This scope is shorter and lighter than the PA 1x4x24. The glass clarity is exceptional. The eye box/eye relief is better than expected at 1x but does narrow down when powered up to 6x. The etched retical is clear and the illuminated reticle is daylight bright. Zeroing the scope was very easy and hold zero. Took it out to a carbine match and shot my best match. At close range, the horseshoe is easy to acquire. Upping the power for farther targets made them easy to acquire. With training, time on target is on par with using red dots with the flexibility to reach out farther. This is especially useful for those of us that notice our eye sight is not as good as it used to be. I highly recommend this especially for the price.

Great trigger

Written on Jan 27, 2018

A great deal at a great price. The build quality is excellent and the installation was easy. Definitely need to have the anti-back out screws. Trigger pull is considerably lighter and smoother than the milspec. Follow up shots are easier to do and reset is good. Good all around trigger for all types of application. Highly recommended.

Solid mount

Written on Jan 27, 2018

Good starter mount. It's secure and holds zero. It's a little heavy so probably not the first choice for a light weight rifle. It holds the scope securely as you can adjust the four screws on the rings. A solid choice, would recommend.

Good Starter Variable Power Scope

Written on Jan 19, 2018

I bought this as it was my first variable power scope so I did not want to spend a lot of money. The scope is longer than I would like but the quality seems to be very good. Mounting and setting the scope was pretty straight forward. The eye relief and eye box was much better than I expected especially after using a micro red dot. At 1x the field of view is wide but it is not a true 1x. At 4x, the eye box is a litle less but still very good. The cross-hair etched reticle is very easy to see especially since the illuminated red dot is not day light bright. Zeroing the scope was easy and spot-on. I plan on using this for carbine matches so we'll see how it does. Reasons why I only gave it 4 stars are: (1) It's longer than I would like (2) Illuminated red dot is not day light bright. Overall, I am satisfied with the scope.

HS 403C Exactly as advertised

Written on Jun 19, 2016

Read extensive reviews and videos of this before purchasing. Received it on Friday and took it to the range on Sat. I wanted to go lighter with my AR and the HS403C is definitely a smaller profile and lighter. The installation was straightforward and only took a few minutes. Since it's a 1/3 co-witness, I was able to adjust the red dot to my iron sights at home. When I took it to the range, I only had to make a few elevation and windage adjustments and it was right on. I was only able to run two mags through (60 rounds) but it performed flawlessly and the mount did not loosen. Red Dot stayed sighted on especially during quick reflex/target acquisition drills which is why I wanted this red dot for. I was able to mount it all the way forward on the upper receiver and it provides a great field of vision view especially with both eyes open. Red Dot was easy to acquire. The dot stayed clear and bright the entire time even on an indoor range. With the 403C, the dot is on all the time and adjust between solar power which adjusts the brightness based on the ambient lighting. Before I took it to the range, I had it outside to test how the red dot would look in the bright sun and it was clear and bright. I then took it inside into a dark room which then the battery would take over and the default brightness setting was just right, I didn't have to adjust it. So far this has right on with all the reviews. I'll be putting this through it's paces in various range settings and I expect it

Exactly what I needed

Written on Jan 06, 2016

Ordered this rail for my AR with a MOE handguard. The fit was perfect and the install was easy. Once installed and tightened down, it does not move. Used it to install a single ring flashlight and it was small enough that I could put it on the handguard where I needed it. Highly recommend this for any AR.

Good light mount

Written on Dec 28, 2015

Works as advertised. Used it to mount a light to my AR and it fits nice and snug. Will be testing it out this week to make sure it stays in place. It's light weight and attaches to any piccatiny rail. The installation is straightforward and easy.

Great starter red/green dot

Written on Dec 01, 2015

Bought this to try out how I would like a red/green dot sight. Have used red dots sparingly in the past but not enough to really "know" how to use one. So I got these as the price was cheap enough that if I did not like it, I wouldn't feel like I just wasted a ton of money. Since using these, I have really learned to appreciate the red dot sight. Once I figured out how to line up the red dot with my iron sights, they are right on at 25 yards. I have yet to get out to the outdoor range to try them out at longer distances. But I mainly set up my AR15 for close quarters engagement, so 25 yards is good enough for now. I can see how a quick target acquisition is made easy by the red dot as it makes it easy to just point and shoot. The quality of the UTG is great especially for the price. Everything feels tight and sealed, easy to figure out, and easy to adjust. It comes with the allen wrenches for mounting and sight adjustment and batteries. There are only two cons about this: (1) it is bigger and heavier than I expected, but it's still fits well on the AR. I did have to buy a bigger carrying case to transport my AR with this sight mounted (2) the adjustment knobs require an allen wrench (provided) to lock them in place. So you have to have it nearby if you need to adjust the sights. But since I have a Magpul grip with the storage, I can carry the allen wrenches and extra battery. But since I've set and locked the sights, I have not had to adjust them again. Overall, I am very sat
