Midwest Industries Aimpoint T-1 QD Mount
I have tried a handful of budget mounts. Each offering a light weight, rigid, and cost efficient aimpoint micro mounting solution. However, none of them have performed well - whether if be excess tolerance between riser plates, over bored mounting screw holes, or a poor lower-1/3 co-witness. This mount has a solid TOOL FREE lockup, comes with properly sized mounting screw holes, and is reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed with this mount. If you are dead set on a taller mount, then opt for the absolute co-witness and pair with a Yankee Hill Machine 0.5" Riser (1.4+0.5=1.9"). The cam-lever will ensure that you still have access to your backup iron sights and you'll have space left over for a magnifier - without having to pay Unity prices.

Just the right amount of grip
Written on Aug 08, 2025
The P365XL is a small gun. It can be frustrating establishing a secure and consistent grip when your pinky finger has nowhere to purchase on the grip. These magazine baseplates don’t add any capacity but for $10 they make a night and day difference in terms of positive grip and consistent shooting. And they don’t create printing issues (CCW) either.

Industry leadinf holster

Perfect fitment, secure lockup, plenty of retention devices, optic protection (hood), and you can even adjust the tension. You couldn’t really ask for more out of a duty grade holster.

KAK A2 Birdcage Flash Hider
This is a standard A2 Birdcage. It’s exactly that; nothing more and nothing less. While it might be nice to have a more robust coating, phosphate is plenty durable for its intended purpose. For the price, it would be great if it came with a crush washer. Heck, add $.55 to the price and include one. Saves hassle of finding one elsewhere (that’s in stock).

Quality Fit & Finish
Written on Oct 24, 2024
This barrel has an even nitride finish, mates up with the host well, and didn't cost a ton of money. I paired it with a Herrington Arms compensator. The reason I give this product 4 stars is because the threaded section is too long. The threaded section extends into the compensator's port cavity, which will not allow for the full degree of compensation.

Alignment wasn’t even close
Written on Jun 19, 2020
I found this item on the manufacturer’s website. I was extra sure to copy the year/model of my rifle and match it up with the part number. I then ordered it here to save a couple bucks. After three weeks, it arrived and only two of the four mounting holes align. And unfortunately it’s not straddling the receiver; only the forward two mounting screw holes align and the rear of this rail misses the tapped holes by a centimeter each. I will have to return this.

90% as good as the comprable magpul sling; at a fraction of the price.
Written on May 26, 2020
Title sims it up. I have a magpul MS3 that cost me about $68 and one of these. I like this $9 more. Here is why: low cost, light weight, sturdy, and quick adjustment thumb loop. It also converts from single to double point attachment; whatever tickles your fancy, this sling can do it. Tan? OD? Black? Take your pick. Or buy one of each. The only thing I would add to this is one more triglide to take out some of the excess length.
