However, none of them have performed well - whether if be excess tolerance between riser plates, over bored mounting screw holes, or a poor lower-1/3 co-witness. This mount has a solid TOOL FREE lockup, comes with properly sized mounting screw holes, and is reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed with this mount. If you are dead set on a taller mount, then opt for the absolute co-witness and pair with a Yankee Hill Machine 0.5" Riser (1.4+0.5=1.9"). The cam-lever will ensure that you still have access to your backup iron sights and you'll have space left over for a magnifier - without having to pay Unity prices.
