I bought this as it was the magnification range I wanted and as a 6.5Cm scope it was at a bargain price. I have mounted it on a 17HMR but who knows where it may end up? Usual Leupold quality and the image is crystal clear and bright. Compared to the Vortex I bought at the same time, this is miles and miles better. I have never been disappointed with a Leupold scope and own several. I also own many other brands of scopes, more and less expensive.
This particular scope has the ballistic reticle which can be calculated for any load , not the 6.5. I would definitely recommend this scope
I will start by saying that I have around 20 scopes, Leupold, Arken, Athlon, Vortex, Bushnell so quite a selection and I'm open to any brand. I have a few Vortex crossfire scopes and am very happy with them for the price. At the time I ordered this I also ordered a Leupold VX Freedom same magnification range. When I received them I looked through both and quickly repackaged this scope for a return. The image is not great and the distortion around the edges was horrendous!! I have the Crossfire on a 357 magnum and a 20 gauge slug gun. Both these scopes are inexpensive but give a nice image for the price. I thought this scope would be a step up but, alas, no. Maybe I just got a bad one but I cannot recommend it at all.
You can pay a lot of money for a stock or you can buy this. I have it installed on an Ultradyne chassis. Length of pull is adjusted 2 ways, how far you screw it into the chassis plus removing the spacers from the buttpad. Only I shoot this rifle so I set mine at 14.5" and it'll never move again. The cheek riser is held by 2 allen head screws. I replaced these with the MDT Oryx adjustment knobs so I can adjust by hand. You need to drop the cheek riser to clean the barrel. Very satisfied with it. How much adjustment do you really need? I didn't see paying $400 for more adjustments that I'll never use.
My second TT diamond. Super easy to install and adjust. I run mine at 4 oz and it's perfect for me. Great feel and I have the straight trigger models, really grown to like the straight trigger!!!
I installed this in a Bergara rifle. So superior to the factory trigger. The Bergara trigger seems OK until you compare it to this one. This will be the second Bergara that I am installing and I like the fact that it so easily adjusts from 1.5 to 1 pound. I would recommend this trigger to any trigger snob, like myself, who wants a great trigger for a good price.
I had a rifle with the Triggertech 700 primary trigger and is is a really nice trigger. I also have a couple of Bergara rifles with their own triggers, which are good triggers too but.... Being the kind of guy who has to fiddle with everything I took a chance and purchased the Rem 700 special trigger. I wasted no time replacing the Triggertech primary with the special....great trigger!! I adjusted it down to a pound and I love it!! awesome feel, no creep, grit etc. I then installed the primary in one of the Bergaras, adjusted to it's minimum of 1.5 pounds. Both triggers are excellent but if I replace the 2nd Bergara it will be with the special. I love this trigger!!!
I have several triggers in several AR's. I really like this one. For the price it is hard to beat. Good feel and light trigger pull that still allows you to feel the rifle. Very easy to install and I shall buy more in the future. very similar to my CMC triggers. Buy with confidence.
