TC a perfect fit

Used these rings for new TC compass 30-06. Went on smoothly and fit my Burris Fullfield E1 perfectly. Have since fired approx 50 rounds and scope/rings are holding zeo great. Haven't even had to tighten up the allen screws! The price was right on these rings! Optics planet delivered quickly and will do business again!
Not a true damascus

I should have known better but i thought for $35 it would be worth a try. When i received the knife (quick delivery from Optics Planet!!) i noticed that much of the damascus was worn from the handle edges. First indication this is an acid etched vs damascus blade. The leather sheath came apart at the rivets as the leather grade is vey low and tore after sheathing the blade a few times. The "bone" handle was not smoothed and shows many rough areas where it meets the misaligned steel base caps at the bottom of the tang. The design on the brass handle pins is already worn off and it hasn't even been used yet. This would be a good knife to have in your toolbox but definately not for the collector or even to display to your friends.
Polymer Grip with Poor Fit

I bought the polymer grip for my SP101 and noticed it could not fit the handle properly. The inside of each of the polymer grips had a "male" protrusion that appears to be made to be received by a "female" hole in the gun handle. I noticed on the Crimson Trace box that stated "for Ruger SP101 manufactured prior to 2010". Looks like i'll be trying to rubber grips which are ~$60 more.
