Not a true damascus - Titan Damascus Bolster Handle Steel Blade Knife TDK-58

I should have known better but i thought for $35 it would be worth a try. When i received the knife (quick delivery from Optics Planet!!) i noticed that much of the damascus was worn from the handle edges. First indication this is an acid etched vs damascus blade. The leather sheath came apart at the rivets as the leather grade is vey low and tore after sheathing the blade a few times. The "bone" handle was not smoothed and shows many rough areas where it meets the misaligned steel base caps at the bottom of the tang. The design on the brass handle pins is already worn off and it hasn't even been used yet. This would be a good knife to have in your toolbox but definately not for the collector or even to display to your friends.
