It should feel cheaper at this price but it doesn’t. The latches, the fabrics and materials, hinge fit … it all works. Just keep in mind what it isn’t. And his will disappoint if you expect otherwise. Don’t try to check this on an airline. I don’t trust the latches for that abuse and the case will surely scratch and dent. It’s for getting a gun to the range and back in your trunk. It could stand to have something better for blocking around the barrel and receiver. But that’s easy for me to bring myself. One Velcro strap is fine but maybe not enough. That’s made up for by the quality of construction however. Lastly, it needs a week to out gas the interior. Maybe the adhesives … who knows. I’d buy this again and maybe the orange one. OP got it to me very quickly I should add. The combination resetting was a bit of a trick I now recall. That could be better, but once and done.

I’ve been a skeptic of compensators and brakes, maybe it’s my engineer education going beyond what I really know. But I’ve got religion now. This turned a 10.5” 5.56 AR into a diving rod. It actually felt unmovable during recoil. And frozen without much recoil — certainly less than my 1911 in .45. Never imagined that would work. But I had to stop shooting after 30 rounds. I could taste the lead and my bones were weary from the blast wave. How lloud I can’t say. It felt loud on my skull if that makes sense. I doubled up on ear pro in advance. So I’ll need a separate indoor device if I’m to shoot this rifle again. But outdoor this will be a monster.

I’m a novice and wanted to upgrade sights on my collection. Not to save money (as this tool isn’t cheap), but to have some pride in workmanship and fun with it. All three were a breeze. I think the feature that makes this work better than others is the angle-matching pads that hold the slide in place. No special pads to order. The circular metal pads float on a ball hinge that conforms to angles and bevels. I wrapped all 5 with a cleaning patch and no marks left when complete. Lyman really learned the lessons of the others and got the recipe right. My projects: 1) Springfield XD-M in 10mm, 2) Beretta PX4 Storm full size, 3) CZ 2075 RAMI. Other than this pusher, a few hours soaking in Kroil may have helped.
